These were ALL of the improvements I was hoping to see before I purchased one. Usage as a standalone platform for when I SRT climb in preset loop locations, but also in run and gun situations I don’t have to take a pile of extra stuff with me. This platform would allow me to take nothing ANY different wether I am run and gun or SRT climbing. Or even if I’m on an all day sit at a preset loop location, I could zip down and make an adjustment to move to a non preset within sight without anything extra and THAT would be sweet. I can’t wait until I get my hands on the mark 2 though I didn’t have the mark 1. These improvements sell it for me were the exact things that were deciding factors.

I enjoyed testing the original out here in Alabama. Glad to see some of the new changes. Our talks on the phone talking about original this season. The advice you gave me on the way to set it up in the beginning.

Is a there a possibility for a " cam clamp" for tie down or is that not up for discussion?

We could look into it this summer! The thought crossed our minds. It would allow you to ditch the prussic. Personally I’ve seen them break and would want them to be tough as nails but also doesn’t break the bank. So currently we test these with 700lbs for a 350lb weight rating. The clamp would need to meet that rating or the over all rating would need to come down. Would need to make economic sense. But if we have the dimensions of the clamp we can create a fixture instead of a tie down. Is there a cam clamp on the market that you would suggest we look into?
