I don't know how to put it... Nate without Kara is SOOOO different but yet so beautiful. Generally we see Kara in front of the camera and for a change, Nate really killed it ♥️ The last 2 minutes of the video really define their relationship - So pure 💯 Looking forward to watch Kara's solo trip. I'm sure it will be as exciting and amazing as the Colorado trail documentaries 😂

I love watching how less awkward you guys are becoming when filming in public over these few years 😂 I’m sitting here imagining how Nate got those shots with the tour guide. Like “excuse me sir, don’t walk out that door until I set my camera, oh and I have to run back to get the camera too afterwards” or “can we do that again, terrible angle, my bad” 😂 Mad props to you two! 😍

Nate: "I'm way more excited to do it with friends" My heart broke a little for you when Bec dropped you off at the trailhead! 😞 Thoroughly enjoyed this video as I love hiking, and I couldn't help but giggle when you said Abdul didn't realise what he'd signed himself up to when you kept needing to go back for the camera! 🤣 I love your hiking videos, you keep giving me trails to add to my bucket list though! 🥾❤️🥾

Congratulations to you from the Flatiron neighborhood in Manhattan in NYC. I hope that you had success with with the marathon. I have been a big fan of your videos ( the ones that have included kara of course) for several years. The videos always amaze , entertain, inspire ,educate and move me. Thank you to you and kara for taking me with both of you along for the ride.😎❤😊 p.s. i watched the Boundary Lakes videos recently and thought they were fantastic in every way. This morning I woke up to the horrible news about an earthquake that hit the region of south Marrakesh and the Atlas Mountains. I knew that Nate had climbed the mountain of Toubkal and had traveled through the villages of area. Watching that video of his trek through the villages and mountains brought the tragic event to my living room at a human level I would have not otherwise been able to experience. Today, my thoughts are with the people of the region, the Toubkal area villages, and Abdul. Once again, your videos have brought the world to my living room. Your work is amazing.

Can I just say, Nate has changed so much from the early days (in a good way, not that he needed to change or needs to go back). Went from being the cheapest, most frugal person, I think there was a place you guys visited that had an observation wheel that was like $5 USD that he was like nope, we can see it from the ground for free, to impulse flying to Morocco, from Greece, to climb a mountain, a week before competing in a marathon lol

I mentioned this in Kara’s solo trip video, but it makes my heart happy that you got your flight crew a small gift to share. I don’t work in the airline industry, but we’ve all heard about how they’ve been treated badly by the public-even more so lately during the pandemic. Something that probably isn’t a huge inconvenience to you can go a long, long way in making someone else feel valued or even make their day. It’s a beautiful gesture. I hope this plants a seed in others and they spread small acts of kindness like this as well.
@lunaandstella825
@lunaandstella825 Год назад
One person doing that can really make your week. I work in a outpatient clinic and rarely get any gifts, just complaints. I had a person bringing me a flower they cit from their garden today to say thank you and it literally moved me to tears. I mean its my job and I get payed for it so I don’t expect gifts but We do take a lot of crap. So just a card saying thank you or a little gesture like that literally is the fuel to make all that and the 11 hour workdays worth it.

Honestly, I’m glad you got to do the hike alone (even with a guide). I had an intuition that it was important for you, and Eamon and Bec made it a whole different energy, and made it even more apparent and sad that Kara wasn’t there. No offence to them, but it’s not the type of energy I’m subscribed to. All worked out for the best in the end. Good for you Nate, you’re very inspiring. I fear the unplanned and the unknown... but you have the courage to dive right in. It’s why I’m subscribed to this awe-inspiring channel! I missed Kara in this one, but wonderful editing! 👏🏼

There's something so unique about Nate. He has a beautiful amazing adventurous soul. I just am so inspired by how he pushes through it all. He kinda has that David Attenborough thing going for him, but in a different way, on a different path, destined for great things. I feel like we haven't even seen the best yet, and that really excites me. This video has invoked a lot of emotion within me, because This was me 30-40 years ago, without the internet or RU-vid. What a different world it is today 💕💕💕💕

I love that you bring treats for the flight crews. I'm sure they love seeing you guys boarding. They need more positive experiences, so many people anymore are so terrible and demanding and cruel. A small token of appreciation can mean so much to someone. Nate discussing toilet paper with the kids was pure gold, lol. Their laughter was everything! I love to see Eamon and Bec here, and for Nate to experience van life in a foreign country. I love that you guys are friends!!!!! I'm so sad that Eamon got sick and him and Bec couldn't join you on the hike. I watched their video last week and I was so worried that he might have had that which shall not be named. So relieved that he's okay and doing better. Hopefully someday soon, you, Kara, Eamon and Bec can get together somewhere awesome and have an adventure. "Any fun facts?" "No." LMAO! I'm glad having a guide turned out to be a good thing for you. I was bummed at first that you had to have one, but the reasoning makes sense and you were probably safer on your trek having one. That and you hiring someone helped them and their family financially, so big bonus! I'm so proud of you, Nate, for making it to the top of the mountain! The view was unbelievable and I can understand how happy you are experiencing it but a bit sad that it's the first big accomplishment without Kara by your side to see it too. No worries, you two have a lifetime of accomplishments to make together.

“Traveling is basically continual problem solving” pretty much describes our recent trip to Europe. As countries started closing down again, we never knew from day to day what country we’d be in or what we’d be doing. You really have to be flexible and prepared for multiple issues. It took us 36 hrs and renting a car to get home (to the US). 😆

Amazing Journey, been watching you both since day 1 and am so thankful that I get the chance to travel the world and see so many beautiful sights with you guys, this is something I will never get to enjoy in person so I do it through you.

Wow! That was so interesting watching a video made by Kara with her alone then one with Nate alone. You can see each of your unique styles. Kara’s is more relational, expressive, just going with the moment and feels like you’re best friends with her because she is so personable. Nate’s is more refined, deep and cinematic..like watching him go on a personal journey but the geography is part of telling that story. Together, you guys have such a beautiful channel of your two unique styles. You’re such a good team :)

I just want to say thank you so much for this channel. I love you both and appreciate what you have give to us, your viewers, over the years. I am too old to do much of this myself, and so my only hope is to watch you two do it for me and for the rest of us who can't hope to now or ever, due to age and/or ability. You also fill a hole in me left when Casey Neistat stopped vlogging! Your vlogs are so good, I click play whenever my notification indicates a new video! Good luck and I look forward to your future adventures!

It is so amazing and beautiful to see you both being able to travel out of the country again. I’m unable to travel and have seen the world through your eyes. Thank you so much.❤️❤️

Hey Nate! Congratulations! This reminds me when we hiked to Kala Patthar in Nepal a day after we did the base camp. Woke up 4am, no brekky, not enough water and pretty tired. I also had to leave my friend behind as she wasn't feeling well. In the end, it was all worth it because the sunrise looking over the Everest was just beautiful.

I loved this video (except that Kara wasn’t with you). I’m from the US and my husband is from Marrakech. A few summers ago was the only time I went to Imlil. The reason they stopped you and checked the passports going into Imlil is the same reason they require you to have a guide. The incident reflected badly on Morocco and especially on the small village of Imlil. They are doing everything possible to keep something like that from happening again. I’m so glad you had such a wonderful guide. The Moroccan people are of course what make Morocco so special. I started following both of you when you were in Morocco, and that’s also when I first came across Eamon and Bec. Blessings to all of you.

What am amazing vlog! I have more respect and admiration for you Nate. When you do things on your own, it put things in perspective, helps you understand yourself deeply, and appreciate those who are presently with you and those far away. It binds both emotions and mentally challenges. It changes how your look not only in life but those that are close to your heart. Kara is a lucky gal.

25:50 I have watched all your videos from the beginning, so many times over. I thought the bike series was the epitome of hard work, grit and dedication from Kara and Nate's side. I started my crazy travel adventures inspired by your adventures. Just as Nate was going through that rash of emotions, happiness and sadness, we all felt them. Thank you Kara and Nate for the infinite inspiration!!
