I totally agree such a handsome man in his early days my favourite films that I found him in was those spaghetti westerns my favourite one was high plain drifter brilliant film and also he used to be a lady charmer in raw hide in which came on weekly years ago.If an actor was to play his life story I would put my money on Hugh Jackman another totally good looker.

@rednekbnp the phrase here is "your lips to God's ear," and it's in response to the very nice compliment for the film "Mystic River" (i.e. that it's the equal of "Unforgiven" as an artistic achievement) It means something basically like "I hope you're right," or maybe "let it be so, indeed!"

I think the "Unforgiven" was really modern trash and filth. My favorites were "Hang 'em High", and where Pat Hingle played a sort of fake judge "Isaac Parker". That was my kind of Movie....... and the other was where the Arizona Deputy went to New York to bring back a prisoner. That was edge-of-chair stuff. Sorry to say, but Clint Eastwood is a piece of the past. Under a black president, justice, real justice, cannot survive. I am glad I made it to 80, Many won't. see 80..

@RaikenXion

Yeah totally agree, I wouldnt be surprised, thats just the kind of thing Hollywood would do, grab some talentless actor to play the part. I just get the feeling, they will remake these films one day. And I really dont want them to, but Its all these other remakes, and revivals that have emerged lately. Come to think about it, if they even asked Clint to be a part of, I reckon he would find the thought of remaking those particular films "Insulting" and would probably turn down the offer anyway.
@RaikenXion
@RaikenXion 15 лет назад
Well, just to explain further. Hollywood, are into remaking/reviving and spoiling every Iconic, classic movie out there today. I fear one day they will try to do the same thing with Clint's two biggest classic, Iconic movie figures. This precisely being, the "Leone Spaghettis" and the "Siegel Dirty Harrys." No doubt Eastwood has Directed many Oscar Award and Nominated great films. I myself am ashamed to say, One of my favs of his is "Bridges of Maddison County."

@JimmyTheKiller The man among children. An icon of his generation without peer IMHO. The presence he had in his prime was peerless, to repeat myself... Sean Connery comes close, but Clint will always be the big, quintessential non-pretty boy that everyone male wanted to look like...

Lol! :P im just a lil confused as to why there's any adverts before clips put up by the BBC...seems a lil contradictory to their whole way of working- the license fee is for BBC, everyone else makes money from commercials- why do BBC make money from ads on youtube? seems damn cheeky to me...
@joekiddlouischama
@joekiddlouischama 17 лет назад
Not that it should matter, but Eastwood has always been in favor of moderate gun control, and he's been on the record as such since the 1970s. In fact, he supported the Brady Bill in California. Next time do your research before mouthing off based on supposition or prejudice.
@RaikenXion
@RaikenXion 15 лет назад
"But," Im afraid to say, that when It comes to remakes, Its "The man with no name," and "Dirty Harry Callahan," that with get the pointless, glittering, Hollywood modern treatment. How it always goes. What I am stressing, is that if Hollywood really have to do this some day, I only hope "Clint" will be aloud to work on these. Because Only he could make a "Remake" worth making.
@billjoe39
@billjoe39 15 лет назад
In most of Eastwood's films ( like in Woody Allen's ) there's an army of babes kicking his door down to bed him, sometimes having to take a number (even when he's over seventy-five! ) Either Eastwood has Ron Jeremy as an image consultant, or he gets to write all the scripts in his films. Typical Republican megalomania.
