The vast majority of Old Cab Cars had even better K5LAs than even the best F59PHs. Now seeing those die off was even harder for me to go through than seeing the F59s fall.
This is just the perfect go train video for me. The barrie line being my favorite line, all the awesome sounding horns from the old cab cars and locomotives, and the high speed of the trains.
I can’t believe GO Transit replaced those good ol’ K5LA’s with those crappy horns, but hey it’s still my favorite commuter railroad in Canada along with Via Rail.
