Clive Scott has worked in the hotel industry for more many years, starting his 5-star hotel career at the Hilton on the Park in Melbourne while studying at university.
He has a Diploma in Hotel Management and a Degree in Economics and worked for the Hilton chain for 21 years in places such as Sydney, Cairns, Thailand, Korea and Japan. Many of these overseas locations were in senior Food and Beverage positions.
He is actively involved in Melbourne’s business and arts community. He is on the board of Craft Victoria and The Oceania Foundation, is Chairman of the Georges Mora Fellowship, is Chairman of the Department of Management and Marketing Advisory Board at the University of Melbourne, and is Chairman of Judges for the 2017 Melbourne Awards.
He also is a member of the Hope Street Youth and Family Services Corporate Advisory Board.
Clive recently retired as General Manager of Sofitel Melbourne On Collins as well as Sofitel Brand Manager - Australia. He was appointed Ambassador to the Arts for Accor.
