I loved the whole Jem and Tessa thing at first, but for some reason, as soon as Jem proposed, I was just like, WHYYYYY. Will finally knows what to do, and does it, but it's too late because Jem freaking proposed?! Ahhhhh. It's so frustrating. I really hope but also wonder how this whole thing is going to turn out in the end. To be honest, I hope will and Tessa end up together, but then what would happen to Jem??

My favorite part was Jem’s proposal. That scene was so beautiful, none of the guys today propose like that. His proposal was heartwarming and I squealed when Tessa agreed! It was truly beautiful

This book killed my heart !!! Poor Will, just when he learns he can be himself again and love Tessa he finds out that he can't, and i just want to cry because he and Jem both need to be with her... like we need another Tessa.

I just finished this one! It seems like Tessa does really love Jem as well as Will, bc she obviously has feelings for Will, but she doesn’t want to hurt Jem & she doesn’t even entertain the idea of hurting Jem, which I think shows how much she cares about him. Idk but I think the 3rd book will be tragic one way or another

My favorite moment? There was only one moment that made me literally cry in this trilogy and im pretty sure it was in this book. When tessa grabs onto the burning fire place stick thing? That whole scene/chapter with Will broke my heart completely and the tears were 100% real

I love Jem and Tessa so much! I dont think that Tessa settled for Jem I think that everyone in the love triangle is equal and everyone loves everyone equally because as I always say, platonic love is just as real and important as romanctic love so the love between Jem and Will is just as strong as the love between each of the boys and Tessa. I just love Jem so much, his proposal was so beautiful I wanted to cry and when he said that she was his music I nearly swooned honestly if Tessa didnt marry Jem I wouldve:') But spoiler alert: They both get a long happy life with Tessa, literally the most perfect ending ever.

Jessamine is actually one of my favorite characters. Even though not many people like her.

I loved this series so much. Personally I liked this more than the original Mortal Instruments. I ship Tessa with Will a lot because it always seemed to me that Tessa liked him more (at least to me) but Jem is just such a great person and I love the relationship between him and Will. Honestly I kind of ship them together and I know they're parabatai but still... I am shipping trash.

I love reliving the TID and TMI books through your reviews. I also haven't watched your videos in a while and I've missed them! I could never choose between Will or Jem for Tessa. I ship both. SO MUCH happened in this book and I remember finishing it and being so thankful for a happy ending. I hope you enjoy the rest of the trilogy. It's one of my faves.

The infernal devices series is by far my favorite book series ever (I actually started with TID before starting TMI so TID is more special to me). I was in study hall when I came to the part where Sophie knocked out Jessamine and I tried so hard to not laugh out loud, and that attempt horribly failed.

OMG I literally just finished rereading Clockwork Prince a few minutes ago

YA isn't my genre because I despise love triangles and other tropes that come with it. These are my first Cassandra Clare books I'm reading, and I didn't like Clockwork Angel very much. But that scene between Charlotte and Henry changed my point of view on this whole series! I don't cry at books and I was crying so hard! Married people shouldn't fight like that, they should love each other. But I was SO happy when they fell in love all over again (or for the first time, I guess), I am way more invested into their relationship than Tessa's, Will's and Jem's.

I've never noticed you had any kind of a accent until I heard you say Jem's name. And I felt the same about Jem & Tessa. But I LOVE HER WITH BOTHHHHHHH OF THEM. UGH.

I actually finished the 3rd book this morning. I read the trilogy for the 2nd time over the weekend and I love it so much! I agree with a lot of things your saying. Except for Jem and Tessa. I will always ship Will with Tessa. He's been through too much, he deserved love! And this is in no way a spoiler, I'm just talking about my feelings regarding these 3 characters. I can't wait to see you talk about the 3rd book !

BUT WILL AND TESSA HAVE SO MUCH IN COMMON! THEY BOTH LIKE READING AND TESSA JUST MAKES WILL BETTER. AND IT'S JUST ALL SO AMAZING AND LOVELY!!

I hated this book. I cried and yelled at the ending I got a bookhangover for 2 months and after that it took me 2 more months to start Clockwork Princess because I was soooo scared of what would happen. This trilogy killed me (in a good way)

JESÚS frikiiiing krisssst!!! I read the first book and tbh I was sooo let down bc of how hyped up these books are. Howeve, HOWEVER. I read this second book and omfg omfg it’s so good. Like now I understand the obsession. I have to confess, I really didn’t care about anything other than the romance and wills story so I ummm I skipped a lot of unimportant shit and that’s how I finished the book in a day and a half :)

From the second book, I was such a Gideon and Sophie shipper. I love them together. This was such a fun series. The first book was really slow but the 2nd and 3rd are so great!

Wow I did not have the same feelings about jem. Ya I loved him too but i never really wanted Tessa and him together in the end. I thought he was really sweet and nice to Tessa after will hurt her feelings, but I loved will since day one even though he was awful to people. I loved him so much because I felt like i could see right through him and all his rude remarks seemed forced to me. i knew that he wasn't really that way and when you find out about his curse, I was so sad but happy for him to tell Tessa and then when jem proposed...... I have never cried so much over a book before in my life. You would have thought my mom died or something. So many tears. I was so upset because I knew Tessa only said yes to jem because 1) He's dying and 2) She thinks things will never work out with Will. and i was just soooooo sad because after everything Will has gone through, he deserves Tessa. And I just felt like Tessa pitied Jem.

I loved this new background! Ahh great review Jesse! I totally agree I was kinda annoyed with that trope but poor Will! I really started to like him in this book. I also have yet to read clockwork princess. That part when Will admits his feelings for Tessa is my favorite quote of all time it is so so beautiful!

I loved the part when Magnus found Tessa and Will kissing. If you knew Magnus from previous books, you were just like; Yea, that’s just Magnus Bane. I laughed a lot. But it is hard to choose the best part, because this book was truly great and exiting. I even liked it better than the 3rd one.
