My favorite scene was when Simon told Isabelle the story of Star Wars

One of my favorite Malec parts was when Alec was getting super jealous of Magnus and was being really bitter about the scarf and saying " It must have belonged to another lover" and Magnus yelled after him "For your information I got that scarf from the Gap!"

Malec break up broke my heart

My favorite Clary part was when she pretty much kicked Sebastian's butt. I haven't read the book in a couple of years, but I really like how Clary became more of a warrior than she had been in past books.

I also love how Jace is linked to WILL!!! he loves reading and I loved the part where he read the Tale of Two cities to clary

I cried when Jace got stabbed, and then I cried more when he was fine. Then I cried when Malec broke up... I have a problem.

Brother Zachariah is our cute Cinnamon roll hehe, I love his parts in the book. 💖 Alec was legit losing it but the breakup really broke my Malec heart. I still feel the book failed to present the depth of their relationship. Malec representation is so beautifully perfect in the TVseries though.❤️ Sebastian ruined a lot by lusting over Clary , it was definitely creepy and his reasoning kinda disgusting. I cried for Jace. He is so tortured in every book. I felt so bad for him 😭 I was like enough, stop hurting him please. He just suffers in silence all the time🥺. I saw so much of character development in Simon here. Him becoming more mature, more sensible, more brave, more accepting and understanding. Hail Simon Senpai 🌠

My favorite scene was in the library when Jace is all like, I need my lucky jacket. And then Sebastian is all like, don't worry I can by you a brand-new jacket after we take over the world

I thought that I love Sebastian. He's surely my favorite character within the series and I hope that by the end of book 6 you will come to love him too. There is a lot to his character and even though he might appear pure evil it feels like there's something there that is fragile and broken. I felt for him when he gave clary his scarf, and that's a very human thing to do. In that moment I think he was really concerned for his sister and that's something Valentine couldn't have taught him. Sebs is just my bae

I loved every part of the book, I cried when Simon told Rebecca about himself and how she accepted the truth about him. I also loved that Brother Zachariah was in the book. LIKE: AAAAA YES. He wanted to protect and help the last bloodline of Herondales who was Jace. I also admired how Clary suddenly became more of a ... fighter? like she was so brave!!! and mostly MALEC- it was so sad to to see the breakup of Magnus and Alec. It broke my heart to see them seperating from each other :'((

I feel the same about Malec as you do. I was so frustrated with them, mostly with Alec though for basically all the reasons you said. I was also super sad about the Malec break up!!!

One of favorite parts was when Simon thought that Azazel was the cat from smurfs and then he uses the rings to ask Clary

Did anybody that read The Mortal Instruments before The Infernal Devices imagine Will as Jace in the beginning.

I love how in Cofa you see it's intertwining with Infernal Devices (The scene where Jace is in prison and he sees JG- Jessamine Gray) Now it's so obvious

I cried so much with the Malec breakup😿 and I loved Simon in this book so much he’s my fav character from TMI, besides Magnus. I FELT SO FREAKING DISGUSTED WITH SEBASTIAN WHEN HE JUST WAS ON TOP OF CLARY DOING NASTY STUFF ugh I almost threw up🤢 (I really don’t know how to describe that scene)

Magnus had some self respect and dipped. Every opportunity Alec had to talk to Magnus and didn't only made me grow frustrated with Alec and the break up started seeming inevitable.

The times I hated the most was Alec’s rendezvous with Camille. God, I hated those scenes. The most sad part was the Malbec breakup. It broke my already broken heart 💔
