HTML websites don't have admin panel. Everything are in the files. That's why HTML websites loads very fast. To make changes to the website, you have to edit the files like I showed in the tutorial. Edit the files and replace them in your hosting file manager. Again you can choose to convert the website to WordPress. I have lots of tutorials on that, check my cloning playlist.

Pls I really need your help, I'm have issues in converting folder in to zip file, I really want you to help me on fixing this issue "... because it includes characters that cannot be used in a compressed folder such as . - you should rename this file or directory" that is the error complain

The issue you are having should be in the title of the zip. Don't include special characters in the title. If that's not the issue, send me an email: me@dapstutorial.com

you are changeing the content of the website, you should not use any of the images or slogans. you are just using the structure of the website. upload all your own images.

Yes and NO. What you have said here is achievable. Ideally, you can update the blogs if the edited website has its own blog by updating the files in your hosting, Hostinger in your case. You can also delete the blog on the HTML and install WordPress in a new blog directory (subfolder) in Hostinger and displaying it on the website, so that you only have the blog section as dynamic while others are static.

You cannot clone a backend. If you clone the frontend, you'll need to design another backend

You must be using wordpress.com, you need to be using wordpress.org which would require you buy a hosting account to self-hosted your websites.

HTML works independently of WordPress, if you install HTML files on your server, then it works, if you have WordPress on the server, load the HTML in a subdirectory.

@@KristineH21 You are not doing it correctly. Make sure you unzip the html, have it in a sub folder and add the name of the Subfolder to your URL. Also make sure your index page is in the folder, if you index page is in another sub-folder, add the name of the subfolder to the URL too, you have to make sure your URL is pointing to the exact path of your index.html
