This medication may have accidentally killed my grandma. She had major internal bleeding spontaneously after taking this and a few other medications when she was a bit sick. She lost too much blood Please be careful
@@davidinger961 They gave me aspirins for the first couple of days or so - the first of which was inserted rectally, as I was originally on nil by mouth until lunchtime - then this cute nurse came around and offered me some of the most delicious pea and ham soup I have ever tasted, in a cup - having spoken to senior staff first - I can’t stand soup, ordinarily - but all the lunchtime soups that they brought around were delicious! As to meds - they eventually put me on what I am still on now - I have to take them every day for the rest of my life - not doing so could bring on another stroke!
When I had a TIA they gave me 300mg's and the emergency room Dr filled out the prescription for 30 days at 75mg and said I shouldn't be on it longer then that? My family Dr said I should ask my cardiologist(had a heart valve replaced 4 years ago) My Cardiologist said I should talk to my neurologist when I see him, its been 2 months and still haven't seen my neurologist....But see that many have been on it for years I guess I'm ok for now?????
I am taking this, 75mg, and having stomach pain every day. I’m thinking about asking my doctor to see if I can go back to Brilinta. Anyone has issues with stomach pain?

Hi Larry, I dad using asperin from past 4 years & 5 years back he had umbilical hernia surgery Due to asprin blood thinner, hemotoma fluid + mass forming we are draining it every year Does plavix is good replacement for asprin ? To stop anti abdominal hemotoma ?

My sister was put on that after having a blood clot in her arm. A few months later she had a fall, and her brain had a lot of scarring, which must have been there awhile. She had multiple brain bleeds, a large blood clot and a sub arachnoid haemorrhage. She was very confused, and eventually diagnosed with two types of dementia. She is now in a nursing home sadly.
Good evening, I am currently taking plavix 75mg and aspirin 100mg for more than 4 years. Is it OK to continue or shall I stop taking one of them. I am taking them for mild heart failure
I wouldn't say they cause bruising.... but will cause the site of where you hit or banged something against yourself will make it more pronounced. In other words you will bruise easier....I'm not a Dr, but this is what I have found with myself.
About takeing Dr. Quack Quack's poison. Your damned if you take them and your damned if you don't is what I have come up with after reading all the info available on the web If you have a stent implant, I don't know what to tell you, if not change your lifestyle. I have a stent and atorvastatin is a painful choice clopidogrel carries serious danger too so for me I have decided to risk the natural course. I stopped both dangerous drugs only after 2 months. So far so good. Research natural ways to remedy your condition, the longer you take to get off drugs the sooner you will stop irreversible damage.
@@PharmacistTips I'm switching from Brilinta to Plavix. I appreciate your response. My research has shown that some people going off Plavix had a stroke! When it's time for me to end Plavix would slowly ramping down plavix dosage decrease that risk?
Iam taking clopidogrel 75 mg daily morning and night, like Brillanta will be given for one year in most cases, clopidogrel will be given how many months can anyone answer
That would depend on what you are being treated for. In my case, I am taking the same dose as you for probably the rest of my life. (Quad-bypass) Hope this helps.
@@PharmacistTips i stopped it without asking doctor for 3 months already bcos i had bleeding at my arm when blood taken out for some blood testing. So pls suggest me whether i have to take it again. Thanks
