So honored to watch Luke grow...his shows hold reality....a minute of strobing, while watching a pot enter the water, is overkill...now... try comment me with strobing, and enter the word your cell/device gives you...and hit enter... 🍻🇨🇦🍻
Another fun episode! It’s heartening seeing someone as young as Captain Luke so hard working and dedicated. Can’t help but route for him. Be sure to check out his social media. He’s got great commentary and humor on his content.
Luke! You are da man! I wish that my 75 year old bones, and Boomer mind, could bring me the adventures that you create for yourself. All hail to you. Keep up the good work.
Ive only ever done it recreationally, and we use completely different hardware, but there is somethin kinda special when you get a bunch of cousins or mates in the swing of things and get to haulin crab. Its a vibe. also, freshness is key, Im very spoilt in that 95% of the crab ive ever eaten has been caught right then. restaurant or supermarket stuff just isnt as good, hands down. go find a local dude and put your money in his palm. you will not regret it. or just go get em yourself. biggest crab I ever caught was in shin deep water with a peice of bent fencing wire.
Doesn’t seem like you would make much money doing that. Would love to hear costs and profit. Or at least hear a good day compared to a bad one. NEVER MIND. I JUST CHECKED THE PRICE OF CRAB 🦀. WOW.
Had Katsumoto lived on the Chesapeake, he would have said, " you can spend your entire life looking for the perfect crab, and it would not have been a life spent in vain."
Blair, Hard oil, thats a good one. I assume that you have never seen a ships bilge before.😂 More like recycled tires used by the state for artificial reef construction to help the oyster industry.
Well if it ain't hard oil and I'm pretty sure it's not tires because it breaks apart easily, then who knows what it is. Probably seen 30 pieces over the years. I'll have to save some and have it analyzed.
That's a million dollar question. Alot of people don't like to get females because they think it hurts the population even though we've proven it's not true. They don't typically get as big and most people like big crabs. Not truly sure why.
Thats a steam tank that kills a lot of the alge growth so they can keep them a little cleaner before having to pressure wash them all at the end of each season.
Are you guys restricted to fishing certain areas? 🤔 like one boat throws this area and you can throw there? Or is it first come first serve type thing?
Oh hell yah. I just got the crab punisher in the water finally last labor day 2023 but she is a modified day sailor I salvaged off the shores of the Monocacy so very little room for the traps and I put them in the dingy. I would absolutely love to spend a day on miss Paula. @@FVMissPaula
