There is a seafood soup there as well. It is very popular and waiting time can be up to 1 hour during meal times. Another stall at the rear near to the other escalator sells pig trotters, duck soup and chicken herbal soup. It's my favourite. 🤗

Hi Greg. You mentioned this cantonese roasted meat/roasted duck at marsling hawker centre which are only good on some days which means their cooking style are not uniform in proper cantonese cooking standard..

Hey bud great video as usual. If u are a fan of HK style roast meat, u have to try Hong Kong Roast 88 (Foch road). The roast pork (Sio Bak) is by far in the Ivy League of roast meats here. Char Siew is also good. One thing to note is that they use Iberico pork when it is available. That would definitely raise the bar a few notches among the local Chinese roast pork scene. Do give it a try. From one meat-lover to another.

This is my favourite stall for Roast Meat going all the way up to Marsiling for my lunch fix. I live at Balestier and Fushi used to be at Shunfu Mart since 2009 and they moved to Marsiling Mall Dec 2017 because they live nearby that area. They got 2 stalls here #01-01/02 Gregory Leow.. glad you liked it.. IMO.. Their Wanton Noodle is better than Kok Kee.. It's a must try. Their wanton noodles are one of the best around. Worth a try if you have not eaten this yet.

So far, the best roasted pork belly I have eaten is at Wan Hao of Marriott.

Wow, you're one lucky dude! I have tried going to this stall numerous times and they are always closed! From what I saw, they used to update their Facebook to say when they are closing but now they don't even bother to do that. My colleagues and I gave up trying to patronise them.

In Marsiling Mall you miss out Qian Long Wanton Mee, You should try it, my family favourite stall

Have you tried the outram roast meats at Chinatown Market? They are a bit inconsistent of late, but it's definitely worth a try. Personally I felt it's one of the best roast ducks around.

Didn't know they have shifted to Marsiling, have eaten when they were at shunfu. It's a bit expensive($16.50) for me to be a hawker food.

👍🏻 Marsiling mall is super near by my house! Preferred the lean char siew, the fatty ones is abit too much for me. My neighbour recommend the char kway tiao (the stall directly behind). U can try that and give us your opinion :D

Hi greg, love your channel, please allow me to give my input on these roast meat hawkers, as a foreigner who used to study and live in singapore during my younger years. Although it doesnt happen all the time, these hawkers, as seen in this video, will innocently "offer" the thigh or leg of either chicken or duck, as im sure most non singaporeans are unaware, you will have to pay a premium price as they are considered a delicacy, this is ok if infact, they tell you beforehand of the price premium. I have been overcharged on numerous occasions but two stuck to my mind, one was when i ordered a plate of duck rice which i requested breast meat, the hawker told me that they only had the thigh left and asked would that be ok, i said yes and got charged 9 bucks for a plate that should have cost me 4. The other was my mother buying a chicken leg for 16 effin dollars, yes you read that right, 16. Perhaps i should have ordered in singlish instead of my american accent. Sorry for the long post, would just like to share my experience. Great videos as always
