Closing out the Bastard for 2023

😂🤣I forgot to mention that. Not great. I think my best was 32nd place. I made out with $150 in gift cards and some tackle accessories so I can't complain much.

Thanks. I'll still use the kayak occasionally. I fish a bunch of electric only and under 10 hp. I'm going to have a trolling motor off the back for dragging but nothing special. Now I gotta learn to use plainer boards

It's been at the shop for the past 2 weeks getting the motor and steering installed. I went with a mercury 40hp. Hopefully if all goes well it should be in the water in a couple weeks🤞

That's the plan. Been looking at motors for a bit now. Waiting for that right one to come along.

What size motor

Looking for a 40 to 60 horse. Nothing crazy.

40 hp Yamaha is nice. I'll keep a eye out. From Amish County. Holmes County.

The bastard just needs the motor, which I have waiting for me at the marina as soon as my yard dries out enough for me to get it out. I did go out yesterday for the first time but it was more of a getting things organized for the year. No bites but I should be going out a couple times a week from here on out.

Not yet. March/April is the plan for it. I've narrowed it down to a Mercury or Honda 50.

Probably in another month. My laptop died on me and It just hasn't been on my priority list to replace it but I'll get going here soon.
