I spent most of this season fishing specifically for Flathead and hit up Clendening, Tappan, Piedmont, and Seneca. Needless to say I caught the least amount of catfish this year ever! I’m not sure if I’ll get out cuz the weather but I’ll have my kayak next year. We should get together sometime then… my dad can only manage Saturday.
I've fished nimisila off the dam a couple times. I had some decent luck there. Got some deep lakes in that chain, you would think there's a monster lurking in there somewhere.
@@northeastohiocatfish there definitely is some good ones. Did a 24 hour tournament there last weekend caught a lot of 10+ in anywhere from 5-20ft of water.
No, it is all of Ohio. It's called kataclysm. It goes for 2 months. Halloween is the last day. Some of the big ones are coming out of northeast Ohio so that's good.
Unfortunately I put everything away this past weekend. Been trying to concentrate on getting things done on my boat before it gets ridiculous cold. I plan on filming a season ender this Friday.
It would be off the bank don't feel like loading The Canoe up Or kayak, so just be a bank trip. I'm about an hour just a little over an hour away from painesville
@northeastohiocatfish yea wasn't sure what watter temp is out their and was thinking that the shallows would be warmer then the deep but probably going to be a couple day trip so I'll start at the Caz and don't do good then I'll move I'm going for cats prefer flathead but channel's will do
