In this video I show the process for attaching the back and the soundboard to the sides
It's easy to get overwhelmed by all the information out there! I try to simplify as much as I can. I also google specific questions I have a lot and usually there's a conversation on one of the forums already about it. Good luck!

Another great and informative video, I love your patience with your work and attention to detail. I only wish my attention was that good. Keep them coming.

I’m in the process of my first build and LOVE these videos. I watch tons of other ones by professionals showing how to do it. But it’s really great seeing another “normal” guy. You give great first timer tips and point out mistakes you’ve made, which is helping me from making those as well.

Nice work Adam as I know first hand how stressful it is to do a glue up like that. I did not see you radius either the top or back before you closed the box? Did I miss that part? Also, you should have just notched the kerfing & not cut through the sides of the guitar. Then you just have to spend some time fitting the bracing into the notches that you cut & when you glue up the top & back you do not wind up with those gaps & the bracing showing. That's how it's usually done. Anyway, good job........... :)

Sapele Steve cool thanks steve! Yeah I radiused the sides back in the video where I put the kerfing on, that was several months ago now, this has been a long build! When I install the binding it should cover any notch gaps, that’ll be the next couple videos. As always I appreciate the feedback!

Oh that crack sucks! I feel for you there. Thin viscosity CA glue is a common use for hairline cracks.

Would it have been better for the bracings to end inside the guitar instead of notching the body? (never built one before, but looking to try. Was curious if this was your solution or was the plan all along.)

You could experiment brazilian walnut (Ocotea porosa). It's my favorite wood to work for back and sides of the guitar. Some species smell like cow poop, but... an amazing wood to work... Search for "Imbuia", its popular name here. (sry my band english).

Hey Adam-- great video. Not sure if you can help on this but have a question that's always confused me. How do you reconcile that the sides are all radiuses to 40ft, but the soundboard is flat at the transferse bar section. Shouldn't the sides be flat in the upper soundboard section to match that flat section?
