While Chinese are investing and developing Africa, the problem of refugees and immigrants in Europe could be resolved in the long run.

Africa is one of the places lacks hydro energy but with plenty of sun light and wind, with China as a partner it won't cost an arm and a leg.

With Chinese government help, it gives local African people an opportunity to enrich their own life.

At least with China and India on a smaller scale, they are in Africa to genuinely help develop the skills of the people on that continent. This is not to say that they are perfect and wonderful guests, but you can't help but to compare them with the Europeans, who have long been in Africa to exploit the people and its humongous wealth and very little, if any interest in bringing the African people to par with them, but keep them at the bottom. Now is certainly the best time to have strong Afro-Asiatic solidarity and unity.

Westerners had their chance. Unfortunately their model for whatever reason (from Colonialism to Globalisation) has always been one of maintaining superior position over others. The Chinese know that the West don't want to see China rise, and do what they can to stop the 1.4 billion people there to reaching developed standards. The Africans have unfortunately also experience from the West. So let China work Africa. The West can look for some other region to try exploit for a couple decades, like India.

When I see all these clean energy projects in Africa made by China I got mix feelings as I feel sad for the Chinese for they have such new tech to produce clean energy and yet some parts of China are so polluted
