already saw it 2 times in theater... I can't stop thinking of this movie T_T I am totaly in love for this, I will cary this for all my life...

it was one of the best movies I ever saw...it starts somehow complex...but after 30 - 40 minutes you will be pulled more and more into the plot minute by minute. The filming is incredible, the actors are wonderful, the soundtrack is stunning, the plot is thoughtfull...the whole film is VERY emotional as it goes further and further. You will think probably of the film even later and the next days...this is what happened to me. But perhaps its not a film for everyone.But TRY it

The second and 3rd time you watch it. You realize the beauty and artistic creativity of the plot. And once AGAIN, the Wachowskis break the mold on the cinematic norm. They see the world in such amazing ways.

I love this type of movie review format.

I think this will be a marmite movie for a lot but for me... WOW... I truly didn't know if it would work considering it is multiple story threads with actors playing several characters (both male and female for some hehe) but I am sooo sooo glad I went to see it and want to see it again. It is truly beautiful and frankly inspirational. It questions karma, fate and destiny. There are some truly brutal moments but also a lot of uplifting beautiful moments. Please please see it.

Read the book and cannot wait to watch the film. Sounds great!

^^ , one of my "favorite" if I may put this way are the NeoSoul too, but the second would be frobisher's love and tragedy story, it's so sad but yet glorious somehow... that one of Cavendish publicher is so well done as well, amazing how they maneged to put such funny adventure in the meedle of so much drama, love and sadness... thos movie is just unbelievable well done hehe...

2 story threads stood out for me... NeoSeoul with SonMi 451 which just broke my heart and was the most amazing love story. And the story of the publisher Cavendish just because it was so awesomely uplifting and funny. I'm not saying the other threads were in anyway less enthralling or important but those 2 were the ones which kept me hooked. And oddly enough when I think about it impacted each other the most lol

I adored this film. This and Dredd were the stand out movies of the year. I think the reason this movie never got a nod for the Oscars was because everyone involved in that decision were either stupid, out of touch, old (very) or simply all that ive just mentioned

Go Tom Hanks!!! So cool! I'm still rooting for your marriage to last forever!!!! papalolita is right. All the movies I've seen with Tom Hanks are really good. Which doesn't include this one or Philladelphia, but includes all the greats!!!

Why can't they make a movie of The lost symbol? The trilogy has to be finished in movies...Angels and Demons and The Da Vinci Code is the best movies I have seen EVER! (sorry for my english, i'm norwegian) But seriously, Tom Hanks is Robert Langdon, and he has to finish his job, in The lost symbol!

Wachowskis (directors) said themselves that they are bored with the passive movies that people can watch through half-asleep. Cloud Atlas is designed to challenge you to participate. Challenge you to wake up and expand your awareness. If you fight against change then you probably end up confused and angry because the movie didn't fit in your box of reality. It is an epic ride nonetheless :)
