I think that of all the killers revealed Mrs Peacock had the best character transformation. The actress did an amazing job here!

This is my favourite ending - it adds so much more depth to Mrs Peacock's character. Eileen Brennan's acting was great - she became so much more sinister/ conniving when she was found out!

1:25 Great acting by Mr. Green (Michael McKean) as he comes back from the bathroom unaware of what has been going on while he was away, and stops dead in his tracks as he sees Mrs. Peacock (Eileen Brennan) holding everyone else at gun point.

Col Mustard's face when Ms. White starts harmonizing Jolly Good Fellow LOL. I'm guessing that was improvised and he didn't expect it LOLOLOL!

This movie is hilarious and a classic. Never ceases to make me laugh

Regardless of what ending you prefer, I do quite like how there's a few common themes around them. 1: Mr. Greene is always innocent. 2: Yvette was killed by a lady. 3: Communism was a red herring. I also like how "and monkey brains though popular in Cantonise cuisine is not commonly found in Washington DC" was referenced again in the final ending.

No one ever hardly notices, but if you look closely at Tim in scenes with Brennan he is always somewhat close to corpsing. He gets by though cause of how awesome of an actor he is. Eileen also always have been another favorite of mine as well. So underrated and very funny onscreen and in real life.

I know with the introduction of ending three they say “here’s what really happened” But truthfully this is the only ending that fits the facts of the mystery. In ending three (spoiler alert) it’s Mrs. White who kills Yvette but that makes no sense because Mrs. White was screaming in the upstairs bedroom from the lights going out wile Yvette came down the stairs and entered billiard room.

It's a silly thing to wonder, I know, but I can't help but wonder if they ever maintained contact with each other after this. Like Ms White and Miss Scarlet meeting for coffee or Professor Plum and Wadsworth going for drinks.

Clue is one of the best old films. Abuse it’s really smart, they made the movie and a way that there can be multiple endings

God there are so many layers to the jokes! I've been watching clue for 15 years and I still find new jokes with each watch!

I saw this movie in middle school. This was the ending our class got. My classmate said she thought it was Mrs. Peacock.

What a fucking great movie, absolute classic A++

The fact that Mrs. Peacock was supposed to be killed her is so evident. -You don't see her after the Chief pulls the gun on her, (Eileen Brannon had to come back to record the "Get your hands off me I'm a senator's wife" Line) -The Cops rushing the scene you can see it's a different ending all together, The Chief is facing the mansion in that scene. -When the Chief holster's the gun he does it cowboy style. -You can see the smoke from when he fired the gun while he holstered it. -When he says somberly "we got her" he's implying he killed her. -When Mr. Green utter's his infamous gender confusion line, he says "Was a man" not "Is a man"

I wish they didn’t stop at just three endings, they could’ve done more separate endings were each character was the killer just to see how every character would turn out in a solo way.

My headcanon is that Peacock and Mustard were in cahoots over Senator Peacock's defense contracts, the new fusion bomb, and other war profiteering. Peacock attempted to (she stood closest to him in the lounge) and eventually killed Mr. Boddy and the Cook (both when she wasn't in the billiard room with the others), Mustard tried to grab the gun from Plum in the dark (they were sitting next to each other in the lounge) the motorist (knew he was a war profiteer), Yvette, and the cop (both involved in the sex ring). Take your pick as to who knocked out the power and/or killed the Singing Telegram Girl because it could have been either of them.

A remake...with John Mulaney as Mr Green

In Spanish version, at 2:31 Mr. Green says "You are out of tune" 🤣

She actually was supposed to die in this ending but was deemed too violent. At 3:25 you can see some gun smoke.

R.I.P. Madeline Kahn (1942-1999) (Mrs. White), Eileen Brennan (1932-2013) (Mrs. Peacock), Howard Hesseman (1940-2022) (The Chief) and Martin Mull (1943-2024) (Colonel Mustard).

I ALWAYS win this game with the Hancock kids. After I would say, " For Verification ! ". I loved my mind and winnings... Just loved the look on their faces ! Ha ! Adam. Teri. Jamie. Bug. And i, Brian Henson. Bwaaaaah haha haha !

The only problem I have with peacock's ending is that how did she kill the motorist, I don't think she knew any of the secret passages plus wasn't she in the cellar.

This is the most unlikely ending for me. Mrs Peacock doesn't seem like the type to get her hands dirty, she would hire a hitman or something

Mrs. Peacock really shouldn't have given Wadsworth the benefit of the doubt when he said that the police weren't arriving.

3:18 Mrs.Peacock is supposed to die here, the camera cuts away very quickly as the Chief draws his gun, you never see Mrs.Peacock actually be taken away, and at 3:24 you can see smoke above his head from having shot his gun before he twirls it and puts it away again.

With Mrs. Peacock being the killer, it does leave a few errors. How did Mrs. Peacock manage to separate from Professor Plum to kill the motorist? In addition, when she shuts off the power, she somehow manages to rush down to the cellar quick enough to act like she doesn't know what's going on and thinks someone is touching her from behind. However, there is another clue Wadsworth never pointed out in knowing that Mrs. Peacock is the killer. When they accuse Mrs. Peacock in the kitchen for stabbing the cook since she was given the dagger and they ask where did she put it, she said she dropped it before she fainted or after she fainted and doesn't remember. But that's an error. Mrs. Peacock didn't faint when she had the dagger. She dropped it in shock from seeing Mr. Body supposedly dead. The only time in the movie she fainted was when she went to the bathroom and Mr. Body appeared. So if the second ending were canon, I think this was a clue that Mrs. Peacock accidentally revealed she was planning on fake fainting when having Mr. Body come out of the bathroom.

0:10 Mister Green has already been on the end of Wadsworth’s ‘re-enactment’ before, but this time he sees it coming, DIVES out of the way and allows Colonel Mustard to take the beating instead.

So did those dogs at the beginning of the movie just die off-screen? Because after Mr. Body tries to break the conservatory windows, they are never seen again.

This ending seems the least plausible to me. How did Mrs. Peacock know about the secret passageways? How could she shut off the electricity to commit the last three murders when we see her still in the cellar when the lights went out?

There’s two things about this movie I still don’t get: 1) Why weren’t we able to any of Mrs. Peacock’s or Professor Plum’s killing? We saw everyone else kill their victims in the endings. 2) How - If they were both upstairs - did Ms. White or Wadsworth (Boddy) kill Yvette or the singing telegram girl?
