AMSOIL is different because it is 100% Synthetic and has a higher film strength keeping the metal parts separated. AMSOIL allows less friction, less heat, less wear on the component. I can attest to how great the Amsoil Signature Series is. I own a 2002 Accord V6 that were notorious for having issues with their transmission. I have been using Amsoil Signature Series for the transmission and Engine for the last 190,000 miles. The current mileage is over 347,000 miles and the transmission and engine works flawlessly. I even did a transmission interval replacement of over 84,000 miles and the fluid was in great shape, meaning bright cherry red.
Dealer sheep was saying my wife’s ford edge tranny was operating normally when it started whining when cold did two 50 % changes since it has no pan to drop with the low viscosity Amsoil ATF and the whine when cold is gone and it’s shifting better than new
Regardless of how good a fluid is it is important to change it and and the filters great video love how transparent amsoil people are like he just flat out hey this my car the fluid and filter need to be changed a little sooner then we normally recommend and this is why
Just got the fluid and filter delivered a couple of days ago. Just waiting for the temp outside to warm up and change the fluid and my wife’s van does clunk a little I even bought a new pan with a drain plug to make it easier to service.
I was reading my owners manual and it says service transmission every 150k. I couldn't believe it. I'm not waiting anywhere near that. And, it will be with Amsoil
That's funny! Yeah I think they definitely want you to get another car at the dealership when your transmission doesn't shift right they say just get another car LOL it'll shift better when you buy a new one😄😁
🥇, it's running better than brand new now after all the changes. However there's still a lot of plastics on this car that can break and can leave the vehicle from running which is definitely a big Learning lesson for me when I found out about the plastic radiator lines that broke LOL luckily I didn't get stranded but I found out you could be if you didn't know so now I replaced the plastic water bottle going to be replacing the intercooler bottle and any Plastics that can leave the car seat landed if they break
Correct there's that green looking straw on the bottom of the pen and that's the fill level as the lubricant warms up and becomes operating temperature it expands cold fluid is less volume hot fluid has more volume and basically you want to check the fluid level with it at or near operating temperature never cold and that's why Steven left at idle for about 6 minutes to let it get to the proper level then he put the drain plug in
This video is a little bit more descriptive on all the subtleties - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pbhhEuGsh-I.htmlsi=p76Ml5COe6tp99m3
The ATF is in the Pan with Filter or built in filter and ATF is also in the Torque Converter. In my car there is around 4 Litres of ATF in the Pan and 7-8 Litres of ATF in the Torque Converter.
