Consider it my gift to "new" Lakers fans. Yikes.
Total FG = 31-91 (34 fg%)
Total 2-PT FG = 22-59 (37 fg%)
Total 3-PT FG = 9-32 (28 fg%)
2007 = 4-12
2011 = 2-11
2012 = 5-11
2013 = 7-15
2014 = 1-2
2015 = 5-23
2016 = 1-5
2017 = 0-3
2018 = 6-9
Less than 1 min to go = 9-25 (36 fg%)
Less than 24 sec. to go = 3-13 (23 fg%) 1-10 since 2007
Less than 10 sec to go = 2-7 (29 fg%) 0-5 since 2007

how people say lebron is more clutch than Kobe is just ridiculous. I have never seen so many missed shots in my life. Especially in basketballs biggest stage. Give me Mamba any day of the week.

In the playoffs I'd say LeBron was better at just game winning shots, but Kobe was better at every other aspect in the 4th/clutch

This goes to show anyone can make anyone look like a clutch player or choker by changing the parameters of what they define as "clutch". I've seen parameters that make LeBron look like the greatest clutch player ever. I've seen parameters that make him look like a choker - it's all about agenda. Based on the eye test LeBron never really seemed that clutch, but he did get the job done well enough
@nikosvault
@nikosvault 2 месяца назад
Agenda or not, his chokejobs in the finals have largely been painted over since 2016 (including G7 in 16). So desperate is the media and his fans to create a MJ dramatic arc, that they will ignore most of these moments and focus on... lets say a defensive play with 2 min to go in a game. My parameters were not designed to expose Lebron. His stats looks great using these bounderies when he destroyed the Raptors, Pacers and the rest of the East. But in the finals he has never really been able to handle the weight of MJ's perfection. And he was playing great defensive teams who knew how to expose his limited 1on1 bag.
@aaronwin33

@@nikosvault I'm talking moreso about agendas in general. Like I've seen just about every all time great - Kobe, LeBron, KD, Curry, etc described as both the best clutch player and the worst clutch player. That's why it's important to watch the games. And yes I agree - LeBron was great against Eastern conference fodder but never seemed that clutch in finals competition. Especially vs teams like SAS/DAL/GSW (analytic teams) who always give up mid range shots

@nikosvault lebron definitely disliked this video and might have his team take it down lmao. It exposes his flaws, dude can only score under the rim when it counts and BARELY that. The most overglorfied pampered nba player in history

@@gideonamankwah6491 Well, Kobe was no miracle man in the finals, but Lebron has been atrocious as this video shows. The clutch shots he has stacked up againt milk toast competition in the east hardly compensates for trainwreck performances like the 2011 and 2015 finals.

@nikosvault u mean the 2015 finals where he lost kyrie Irving and Kevin love, averaged 35 13 and 8, accounted for 67 percent of his teams field goals aka the most in NBA history and led both teams in points rebounds and assists? Name me the guy that lost his next two best teammates and won the series. I'll wait.
