the worst crowd ever ....they are booing him even though he just cut the greatest promo in modern Era ...they would rather listen to cena kiss up to all of them
I mean, I agree and disagree with Punk. I agree everything said about Vince he is weighing on the company. But I disagree about Triple H, I mean talking shit about Vince is easy considering he's never spent as much time on the ring as Triple H. And I know when Vince is gone, Triple H will run it and the company and WWE in general will be better. Take this year for example, NxT, bringing in new faces and actually giving them a chance Vince never would have.
Hindsight's 20-20, I've been away from the wrestling scene for many years until a couple years ago when I started hearing about this Kenny omega. So when around wrestle kingdom 12 and the hype this match was bringing. I started looking at alot of back catalogs in both njpw and wwes and came across the pipebomb. I didn't think anything of cm punk however him dropping the pipebomb was huge and you need time to appreciate the impact that it had.
100% cm punk might not have changed the industry with this but it made me respect the hell out of him for coming out and telling the truth. He was told to do this but they didn’t tell him what to say, all of this was how he felt and damn it takes someone special to not only do that in-front of thousands but also on live tv. So glad punk is back wrestling
What a neat touch to this. Right at the end you can hear maybe whoever filmed this or a person seated next to them say “if that was on television right now, this is the best storyline they’ve had in years” Goes to show the impact this had at the time and how it truly did resonate with everyone. Solidifying CM Punk as one of the all time greatest.
There was 1 video on here years ago where some dudes filmed themselves doing a live reaction the RAW airing of this(this was back in the days before it was popular to do reactions to things) It was the funniest thing seeing these dudes lose their minds to this. They were in tears laughing by the end of this especially with the doofus son in law part. This was such an incredible moment in wrestling seeing this during the PG era.
@@vlcheish Dude I watched that video like 10 years ago and I'm still pissed that it's no longer on youtube. Could never find it again. Dudes where losing their shit. When NJPW and ROH got mentioned their heads exploded. They couldn't believe what they were seeing.
If that was true they would have shut his mic off seeing him go rogue. I think he came up with the dialog but he had to run it by the wwe writers to make sure it was ok to say. No way he broke script without them silencing his rant.
They told him to talk about why he wasn't gonna resign when his contract expired but told him they were gonna randomly cut the mic too and to play it off.
Wow thanks for saving this gem bro... I always wanted to see from audience side of view.. This promo changed the luck of cm Punk and made him best in the world
@@nightmarezer0507 obviously I know how the things work. I'm referring to specific things Punk said, He said He thinks Pro Wrestling and WWE will be better when Vince is dead. I'm not really sure Vince was ok with Punk saying such words.
they use to boo him till he picked up the mic and sat down that night. That night every people turned against every baby face cena, rock, hogan. Punk is the only talent whose mic skills turned crowd against cena and rock.
Complains about 'Dwayne' jumping straight into the main event at maina, yet punk jumps right into a UFC 203 main event. Double standards if you ask me.
You do realize that this was while CM Punk was wrestling ? He didn't start doing UFC until after he left the WWE in 2014 and didn't even have his first fight until 2016. This was way before that.
