The biggest point that you've not considered is the fact that I can sit in my cng car with AC on without spending too much money. I can't do this with petrol. If you sit for 30mins with AC on in a petrol car, you'll see the needle go down. Do this with a cng car and not even a single point will decrease. This is especially important in Delhi NCR where we sit in traffic jams more than drive.

I purchased cng car..and already did this calculation 2 yrs ago..u r right about 1500 km monthly run and 4 yrs atleast ownership...

Few missing points. 1. CNG tank is heavy, which means quicker wearing of suspensions. Tyre touching to fender if the car is loaded. 2. Tyre life will reduce marginally, as tyre has to carry more weight even if car is standing idle. 3. If you are fitting from outside, engine life will get reduced. 4. Since the car is 1 lakh rs costlier, you must have to pay more insurance amount (2k to 3k more) every year as per IDV.

CNG is very economical compared to Petrol. My duster milage was 6 to 7 km per lit in city but with CNG now 10 to 11 km per kg.

Not a practical calculation, petrol car gives an average of 12km with AC and with 1000km ,it makes 1000 km/12km=83km*Rs 96= Rs 7698-Rs 2500 (for Cng cars)=Rs 5468 pet month *12=Rs 65616 yearly, it means afrer Two years saving will start, and if one keeps car for 7yrs, will save Rs 328000/-,pls correct if wrong 😊

Good calculation. Missed part is city traffic average wherein same car gives petrol average of 12km and cng ave 18-20km So a mixed calculation of 500city+ 500!highway or 750city+250 highway is required

My monthly run is 1200 kms,cng ,costs around rs3500 in delhi. Previously driving petrol for same 1200 kms,costing around Rs 12500 monthly. This is in delhi and practical running cost and not some theoretical calculations. So practical saving on fuel is around Rs 9000 monthly. By this rate with less than a year i will recover difference of Rs 100000 and after that even after a good maintenance i will be in a win win situation till the fourth year(which as per video is the year of recovery of excess cng price).

I m running my celerio on cng .. mene retrofit karvaya tha 32000 me ab almost near to 1 lack kilometre. It gives almost 40/km/kg without AC or 35 km/kg in Gujarat Jab mene cng lagaya tab cng ka bhav 45/kg tha pisle 2 sal me mene price hike dekha .I have almost saved lots of money. Celerio me city me 17 ka or highway me 21 ka milage milta he petrol me. Jo AP bta rahe he uske hisab se cng ka cervice har 3 sal me hota he.(regular). Baki sab to petrol vala regular service hi hota he. AJ Tak meri clutch plates bhi nahi badli mene. Abhi Tak koi issue Aya hi nahi. 1000 km ka long drive me kafi bar kar chuka hu. Bs apko apni car ko achche chalana he. Major service me battery or tyres sirf change hue or ek bar break pads . Apko isme shell ka cng compitable oil ata he woh dalvana he.har 10k km pr. Oil filter ko change karvate rahena or air filter saf karvate rahena he. Har subah jab AP gadi ko start karte ho to bas 5to 7 minutes ke liye warm hone dena he . Dekhna kabhi koi issue hoga hi nahi. After 1 lack km me brezza cng me hi upgrade kravunga after all cng is value for money nowadays. Future ke bare me soch rahe to to dekh Lena petrol ka price hamesha cng price se age hi rha he. Cng value for money😊

Cost ka sahi bataya. MP mein CNG almost 95 per kg hai, aur Petrol bhi thoda mehenga hi hai, almost 105. MP mein bohot time lagega cost difference recovery karne mein

Same calculation aap agar city ke hisab se karoge to 2 saal me recover ho jaenge paise.. For petrol 1000/12=83 approx 83x100= 8300 per month For cng 1000/20= 50 50x75= 3750 Total amount difference 8300-3750= 4550 120000/4550 = 26 approx months i.e. 2 years me hi cng ke paise vasool ho jaenge .. Aur agar koi delhi se bahar rehte hain to 3 saal me ho jaenge paise pure..

😂 जनता को उल्लू बनाना कितना आसान है। Cng 7लाख +2500x 48=8लाख 20000 । Petrol 600000+4800x 48=830400 । ये हुआ सिर्फ 4साल का ओर आगे देखो 11साल और बचे गाड़ी के । 11x 12=132 महीने और पेट्रोल 132x 4800=633600 Cng 132x 2500=330000 Cng गाड़ी 3 लाख का प्रॉफिट फिर भी दे रही है ।मध्यम वर्ग के लिए मायने रखता है । ओर रिसेल वैल्यू सीएनजी गाड़ी कंपनी फिटेड हाथो हाथ आधी रात को भी बिक जाती है पेट्रोल की गाड़ी के कोई रेट भी नही लगता ।

As per my calculations assumption Petrol 98 and cng 75 After running 1 lakh km petrol car will cost 2.2 lakh costlier than cng If one is not in mood to sell the car and can run more than 1lakh then cng will be cheaper. Not necessarily you run it in 5years you can run it in 10 years but assuming petrol and cng price difference remain same. Thanks

Nice Calculation, I did almost same thing on ms Excel.. According to you if running is falling approx 1200 - 1300 km per month ( 50 - 50 in city and highway) then what do you suggest? I agree with all your points. That CNG gives a bit problem too like less effective AC and sometimes overtaking problem on highway. And yes if you are in hurry to office or to somewhere else and you spend the time on CNG station

Sir ye to samajh aaya ki 4 saal lag jayenge CNG cost recovery me.. but we buy a new car for atleast 10 years.. to agle 6 saal to saving hogi hi na.. 4 saal me 1.2L save hote hein to next 6 years me 1.8L save honge.. to overall 10 year ownership me CNG car will save 1.8L even with 1000km monthly running cost.. it is a good enough saving overall.. what say?
