I served 24 years in the military and 5 years DOD, my son who was a combat medic was disabled due to a combat injury, my father-in-law who retired from Air Force, and my brother-in-law who served in the Army. After taking the asvab and after a long concideration I chose not to serve in 1991. Some times I look back and wonder how my life would have changed. Some times, to be honest, I regret my decision.
