@@Dso1217 I agree but he was more so referring to the O-Line, Louisiana Lafayette scored 14 on Bama because they had their 2nd and 3rd string in for most of the game, not to mention the Bama defense has gelled as a unit since then and they were much more focused.
@@Dso1217 The last 2 times? The 1st time was in 04 I believe and Bama was horrible then, but yes they did handily beat us in the sugar bowl in 2013. Alabama has had the same issues as LSU offensively to a degree up unti this year, all it takes is a legit QB and a competent OC.
The scheme LSU played was good. The problem was really 3 things. QB, o line, and...well alabama. Dont take away the fact that not only does alabama have an above average defense as usual, but alabama has the best offense they have ever had. From offensive line to qb to running backs.

I truly believe at this point that the only team that can beat them is themselves but so far they’ve been improving each week, particularly on defense. I’ve always wondered what a Nick Saban team would look like if you were to add a proper Heisman caliber quarterback and my god it’s almost unfair. And he’s here for at least another season!
We respect LSU and coach O. They have a hell of a team. LSU shouldn't loose anymore this season and actually should only have 1 loss now. Respect....coming from a life-long BAMA FAN.
How can you respect a team who can't figure out that they have trash for a QB! I'm a life long LSU fan and a bunch of my friends have been getting together for years watching LSU and we are done! Offensive line has been suspect all season! But the QB position is a disgrace! None of us will watch this team again until they go out and get a dam QB!

Rashaad BORN! I disagree. Defensive play was good but when your offense can't stay on the field the defense gets tired and that's exactly what happened! And this isn't the first game Burrow paniced and looked like less than a high school QB! Who ever thought the O line was strong enough to make a run at a championship should be fired! I didn't play college ball because i blew out both knees in high school and i played QB and even i can tell Burrow is trash! Well me and my buds who have been getting together for years to watch them are completely done until they find a QB! It's pathetic that our last decent QB was Matt Flynn! Actually it would be better if they lost the rest of their games and maybe that will wake the coaches up to the fact that we have no offense at all!!!! Every year LSU looks like a mini-Alabama. Physical team, power running, strong defense, but Alabama just does it all better than them. Recruiting plays a huge role in that.
i thought the receivers werent the problem it was the oline and the inability of the qb to consistently hit hit target. he has been a 50% qb all year and imo it isnt the receivers fault. I also thought the Dline did a pretty decent job at pressuring tua. they made him move the pocket all night but they just couldnt bring too much heat without getting punished.

I've been saying it all season ... LSU does not have a sound offense. They have been living and dying by their ability to kick field goals. They caught Georgia Flat Footed, and that is the only real signature win LSU has. The argument for their 3 top 10 wins falls short when two of those 3 teams have shown they aren't even top 25 worthy [Miami & Auburn]. Alabama Shut these cats Out! Not just down ... Shut them Out!! On their own field. Hell, even Arkansas' Offense performed better than LSU's vs `Bama. LSU is a good defense first program. But until they learn how to move the ball on their opponent's side of the field, they will not be a great team. . . .
Jaems Scott Bama has the back up defense towards the end that’s why Arky played better. And Tennessee as well. Bama’s starter defense was in the game the whole time against Lsu. Arky and Tennessee would have had 0 against the defense starters

Here is the problem LSU, during the bye week, y'all spent more time talking to the media about how Alabama haven't seen a "Defensive Back University" like the one LSU has and not enough time on preparation. Alabama put up 600 yards of total offense on DBU and moved the ball up and down the field the entire game except for 1 or 2 drives. Imagine if all of those drives were converted into touchdowns, the score would have been 63-0. The mistake that y'all made was thinking that since you beat Georgia, y'all would beat alabama as well. Just thinking Alabama and Georgia are identical is laughable to me. Y'all got whipped like a bo-legged midget and Ed O for the first time admitted it

Coach O seem to have thrown the players under the bus...or throws the baby out with the bath water...type of deal. Example being...number #92 for Bama QW...was not a five star recruit but a few years in the system...he's developed into a potential unblockable DL....who will be a high draft pick. Talent is one thing coaching is another.
@@EricAhmad you're not watching the game closely. They tried to change schemes, they've had to reshuffle the offensive line 7 times this season due to injuries. If anything the coaching of the offensive line has been excellent considering that. In this game there was an obvious talent deficit that I feared would show itself. The ends were too fast flat out.
Not a fan of either team, but LSU does this every year against bama. They try to play this field position nonsense with zero attempts at any creative offensive play calling. You cannot beat bama running under 75 plays. They won’t get tired and they’ll be happy to keep slugging the game out because they have more players coming in fresh off the bench. Oh yeah and you have to go for it on 4th down.
The truth is the truth Alabama nose tackle was what gave LSU offense trouble their center couldn't block him. Alabama quarter back is average has 5 receivers and 2 running backs that can make him look better. Clemson can score easy on Alabama defense but Clemson secondary on defense can't cover Alabama 5 receivers but can shut down the run. Georgia and Michigan not same league Note Dame don't think so.
Naw we need to recruit a new OC like Hugh Freeze, regardless of his baggage, who had Alabama's number, or even Kevin Faulk. Plus ex Tiger Rob Sale as the OL coach.
I'm not sure how to match Alabama player to player. Their third string RB was the #1 recruit last year. I don't care how great of a coach you are, it's so difficult to beat that kind of depth. Until Oregon can lock down the state of LA, it's hard to win. 4 Lousiana kids starting on that team, it hurts. Got to win those blue chip in state battles. Tua wasn't the difference, it was the line of scrimmage. This is just tough

LSU will never have an offense unless we get a smarter coach and a quarterback who is not scared to throw the ball. Burrows is so slow to read his receivers or the play that his offensive line gets overwhelmed. It was like high school against professional teams. Alabama embarrassed coach 0 again.
Need to recruit bigger, more talented offensive linemen, like the ones BAMA does year in and year out? Hell yes! But the most important position we need to excel at recruiting is the QB! Is RB, John Emery still uncommitted? We need to do everything possible to get him to sign on with the Tigers!

Actually LSU wasn't that good on offense and it's a great Bama team but the best I don't know. The only offensive line that might play against Bamas defense is Oklahomas . But it won't happen because they'd defense is just awful

This is my comment regarding the LSU-Bama supposedly dog-fight. It begins with one word. Prepare. I learned something once as a young leader in the military. Prepare for the big dance. Whatever your big dance is, you need to prepare. The performance by each team was totally different even when both teams had the same amount of time to prepare. There’s that word again. There’s another word. Execute. Once again, both teams’ execution was on different levels because of maybe there was a failure on one team part to prepare properly for their opponent. Here’s another word. Adjustments. There were no adjustments made by LSU to help the offensive line because Q. Williams stayed in the backfield all night. There were also no adjustments made to create some sort of run game either. Ultimately, this last word says it all. Coaching. We saw Saturday night which coach properly prepared their team to execute their offensive and defensive game plans. We saw how one coach failed to play a series safe by running an unnecessary pass play inside their own 3-yard line knowing that the O-line was consistently being penetrated by Bama’s D-line. Everyone made a stink about losing Devin White for the first half of that game. To be honest, I truly believe it would not have made a difference. Unless, DW can score points for the offense. Also, I am sure CNS would have prepared for White, had the team to execute their plan of how to deal with him and made any adjustments (which, I am sure they did to account for DW) when he began the 3rd quarter. Lastly, you will not get far with false motivation. That’s what I saw from the LSU fans, players and coaching staff. Don’t talk about it. Be about it and let your play do the talking. LSU is talented but maybe the wrong coaches are leading that team. You would expect more from the highest paid assistant (DC) in college football. The offense continues to look like the offenses ran under CLM. When in charge, be in charge but most importantly … prepare. Roll Tide.

LSU has an excellent secondary an made Tua an Bama earn what they got. I'm an Alabama fan, but I have respect for every type of fan. It drives me crazy to hear people talk bad about Coach O. After winning the 2019-20 football championship, no one should disrespect him.
I am a Bama fan thru and thru. With that being said, this team has nothing to lower their head about. LSU is an amazing team. I think they have an outstanding coach in Coach O.
