@@KosherLifeMirI believe Carter will start as well. The last thing Coach Prime will do is play favorites if anyone, blood or not, is hurting his team. To be fair, Shiloh should have played sparingly anyway, considering he missed so much field time and coach can’t afford to lose his team if they see him as a liability. But make no mistake, Shiloh is still a good player with lots of upside, he’s just not ready yet. He led his team in tackles last year and had the most forced fumbles in the PAC 12. His confidence will be a little hurt over Coaches open comments but he’s a big boy and will break his neck going forward to prove he still can play this game.

Coaches lost this one. No way you play M2M bump n run coverage defense with 3 mins left up by a touchdown. Thoroughly disappointed in the defense … but overall proud of the team.
Sometimes, in order to stop the run, you have to play 0 coverage. They play cover 2 give up a long run and you'll blame that play call. The K State QB is not a great passer, so you pressure him and he made a play. They got burned,it happens.
Common sense is not calling a coverage your guys b have never ran in the closing minutes of a nail biter. You live or die with what you do. Tonight they fought til death and died.

But you have to bench Shilo and think about your future. That was our game to win honestly if Stoutmire was in we probably would’ve blown them out. Coach prime preaches accountability he needs to hold Shilo accountable if Carter had a missed that many tackles and got his ankles broken that many times he would’ve been on the sideline watching

This is why they need a run game also. It was 2nd and 6 and they were forced to pass. With a good run game they could have gotten 3-5 and would have made it 3rd and short. But it’s all what ifs at this point
That tackle with the false star really hurt them. Then Sanders went deep on a 4th and 6 to try to get the penalty. Really coukd of gone either way. The defense played like crap on that last drive. It is called press for a reason. If you are in press you are supposed to get in the receivers chest so the timing is off and the line can get to the QB.

Prune has had Shilo with him every year since Pop Warner ,when he was 6 or 7. Prune is a HOF db and yet his18 years of coaching and training his son who is in the same position group daddy was in has him "STILL getting better some day" ? Had Shilo had a real coach n mentor,hed have played a different position,one he would understand at least a little after a decade and a half of playing it. I like Preston he gave up a big touchdown in the Baylor game that gave them momentum. If you’re gonna press, you gotta put your hands on somebody. Not Shilos fault . They gave up 180 yard s to one running back. If your free safety lead your team in tackles , that’s a problem. What I don’t understand is why would you be in man coverage with 2:17 seconds in the fourth quarter when K State is down by 4 points and have to drive 83 yards. Gave up a big touchdown late in the 4th in man coverage with no safety help for both corners

And to be able to do that with literally one of the worst Olines in the country is pretty spectacular. The man still went for 34/40! That’s 85 percent completion with again the worst Oline in college football! They can’t even run the ball with a light defensive box. So considering that 2 has to almost pull plays out his butt for the offense to move the ball is still pretty impressive. 4 & 6 isn’t even a reality if the Oline doesn’t have a pre snap penalty. You know the snap count!!! And Kstate literally called the same play to win the game! I think it was a fair chance.
