I have only played pickleball for 1 year. I think Lily is using an eastern forehand grip, may be even a semi western grip. With this grip, it will be very difficult to develop any strength to the backhand side. All Simone said was informative and educational. However, I think Lily will forever have a weak backhand until she change her grip to continental or willing to change grips in play when she has time.

How much grip strength do you use for this block? Some suggest soft grip, and some advise for tight grip.
