the fishnet jar for certain! makes you think of fishermen who made fishnets to catch fish... hence, "fish" "nets".... and i'm picturing a white farm house overlooking the sea! GREAT JOB!

I really like both! I was thinking if someone really. wanted a beach look they could fill the bucket with sand and add a sand dollar , star fish and some shells. Such a great way to recycle an old paint bucket!

This is great because you are showing how to make a basic macrame hanger which can be used to hang anything. I had my stereo speakers hanging from my ceiling in college in the late 80s using these same knots.

I love the jar. It is a great way to use our Macramé skills from the 60s and 70s!! Yes that knot tying is macrame! Am I showing advanced years??? You bet! Just a hint. You have a handle on the jar. Use that to hang the jar from a door way or door knob (hook the handle over a clothes hanger and use a DT over the door hook and WALA, you have much easier time tying all those knots. The excess string/twine just hangs down nicely. Then, if you are goi g to hand th jar, want a lot tasseled finish, just tie it off when you get to the bottom and trim it to the desired length. If you don’t want to hand it, you will have an easier time trimming it close to the last row of knots! I am using some grey in my bedroom with the beach tones of teal, navy and coral, so ink will paint the jar grey to match and use the white string from DT to make it look more beachy than rustic. And I’ll tie a couple of small shells to a string tied in a bow around the open mouth of the jar. Thanks for showing up us how to macrame again and in such a creative way! I’d forgotten all I ever new! I just love your channel!

Thank you for not wasting water rinsing out the paint can! I watched another DIY lady use 2 bathtubs full, and in today's world where water shortage in the future is definite, we all have to use care with wasting it.

both projects are awesome, but to me the bucket was a little plain, I really liked the mason jar a lot. I guess it's my favorite. I wonder if you could fishnet the bucket, and hang some beach trinkets on it. TFS It's funny, I just painted my porch and got a bucket to use.
