I made these for a samhain gathering and they were a huge hit. While the spices are not my favorite, I did like them, and have a wonderful idea on how to modify the recipe to suit my palate better. My father, who grew up in the mountains of West Virginia, absolutely loves these!
Praise the Lord! My wife and I have a deep love for the Victorian era. We too live and dress similarly to how people did in the 19th century with one main exception...we drive cars, albeit cars that are approaching their 60th birthday.

Hello from Anacortes! I so enjoy your videos Sarah! My former home was all Victorian furniture; some are replicas, other pieces true antiques. I have them in storage for now. Love this time period! Do you ever have folks visit/tour your home?
Tried making these the other day and followed the video here too, mine came out extremely dry. Not sure why, maybe too much dry ingredients? Im not sure.
