Whole heartedly agree. I am enjoying watching, listening and gleaning from your videos. I love your hat, the dark colored one with feathers. I am beginning to wear hats of different styles when I go out. Just recently I saw a lady in the store and she had on a deep blue hat with ribbon and feathers and looked stunning. I complimented her and a gentleman nearby heard and agreed. How wonderful would it be to bring them and other feminine styles back. In Joy
I agree! People often think it’s odd for me to be reading, as opposed to playing video games, as most people in my age group do. It’s quite a shame that so many people never read anymore... there is nothing better than sitting around and reading a good book!
i'm disabled with paralysis on one side. i love my ereader because it makes reading in bed so much easier for me. having said that, i have put your 'real' books on my christmas list, sarah. :)
My dear MIL has some health issues which can make holding a book very uncomfortable; especially the heavier ones. She does have a Kindle fire but is not that fond of it. My husband found a book holder for her. There are several versions out- some clamp to the bedside or table; others are constructed more like a bed tray (to take meals in bed). Someone has thought of us book lovers! 😊
I prefer Zane Gray. I've got a bunch of his novels. Most of the novels I got of Zane Gray are antiques from the 1920s and 1930s and they are all westerns. His stories capture my imagination of the old west.
A "REAL" Book is better than an E-Book, or "ALEXA", because you don't need batteries or a power pack to make it work. Real books work all the time! I have gotten into the habit of doing research for all of my writing, since High School. If done properly, research can help you write a good story that won't have holes in it. By holes I mean little things that your readers will notice if they know their facts and history (if you've written an Historical piece). I have a lot of historical material, and books. I also have a collection of fiction, and children's books. Children's books seem to interest me most because they are so easy to get lost in. For example, Harry Potter books introduce one to a whole different world! Besides, I like magical things. : ) ~Janet in Canada
