Continued on the build for my Cobalt SS getting an LDK swap and a step closer thats needed to getting it back on the road. Head clean up is an important role on keeping everything steady to prevent damage from dirt and debris. Hello there! I'm having a really hard time finding a used cylinder head for my 2.0 lsj engine and was wondering if I could use a 2.2 cylinder head instead. Any pointers?

It'd be best to use the 2.0 LSJ head due to cam sensor location on driver rear side of head

Thanks I want to start of with the option b and dualpass, in the future I’ll go with maybe a stage 2 nothing to serious. I needed a gas saver and jumped on this one for 2k

This going to be a S/C or Turbo build? Also, 99% alcohol and acetone are friends as well. as long as no seals/o-rings are present.

I'm sorry if this is a stupid question, would I be able to follow this, to clean up an LE8 ecotech 2.2 cylinder head? I believe you said in the video, that this is a different version.

Yes you can follow this same concept to clean the LE8 head

On the outside of cylinder head or inside cylinder head under valve cover?

Gasoline is way cheaper than,brake,clean and,e85 does about the same job

Did you clean behind your intake valves? That's a GDI engine.

Yes , cleaned behind intake valves as well as exhaust valves. Also the PCV valve on intake manifold

Pinhead Jarvis you can start piecing the guild little by little as time goes. You don't have to get everything all at once. That's what I did until I have mostly everything I'm looking for at the moment to make the build happen. You can do that as well, and you too can build your car!
