Special thanks to Andy for passing this beast on to me about a year ago. This radio had sit on the shelf ever since then until today i decided to toss it on the bench and try and figure out WTH was wrong with it.
Needless to say the radio needed some TLC to sort it out. I spent about 4 hours working on it today until i found out what the issues were and corrected them. The radio produces about ~20watts CW,AM,FM and about 10watts SSB on low power. The radio will produce upto 100watts in high power with a good amplified microphone.
I still got to a few minor repairs to the radio before i call it 100% done, but for now the radio is performing as it should be.
