An enormous shout out to Al Bane! Thank you so much for this video. I learned so much. I was scared to try and fix my timing on my Cobra Class 4. You made it clear as day how to fix it.🥰
I just restored an old Necchi OPC which has a similar mechanism. I wouldn’t be able to sew until I run into this video 🤩🕺🏻🤸♂️. Mine had a split thread issue and now it is sewing like a butter ✌️ Thank you so much.
Thank You!!! I broke a needle just after getting my machine last May, and must’ve knocked the timing off a hair. Yesterday I turned a thick project wrong, broke a needle again, burred the hook end, made some tears, and screwed up the timing. Al, your videos were key to getting everything right, including the next issue which was low foot pressure causing inconsistent loop depths. My machine scared me at first because the double foot was malformed from the factory (causing flagging), and only 3 bobbins worth of sewing was done on it last year. Your graciously shared knowledge has now made me love my Cobra 4! It runs quieter after timing, and is a dream to use compared to all the Adler’s, Consew’s, and Juki’s I’ve used.
Great video Al, and great detailed explanation. I really enjoyed the humor. You hit the question and 'prying' of info out of folks to diagnose the problem perfectly. Having read many of those posts, it made me laugh out loud !!! Merry Christmas to you and your family !
During reverse, my 441 clone cut the thread, while during straight stitch, very beautiful stitch. Can this be because of loosing tension by check spring. Kindly guide about it,Sir.
