Installing a Cobra slip-on muffler on my (very dirty) Yamaha V-Star 1300 Tourer. Includes before and after sound, and time-lapse of the installation process.
Any back firing after this muffler change? How about fuel mileage or engine torque loss? or additional top end (under fuel tank) engine noise increase?
I bought it from denniskirk-dot-com, very reasonable price. All I did is swap the muffler, because my airbox is completely stock. My understanding is you don't need any fuel module unless you have upgraded/modified both the airbox and the muffler.
Hey, where did you buy slip on thru? Also did you have to put on any fuel manager mondule? Or did you simply put one off and the other on and thats it? thanks in advance
After you take out the screws that hold on the tip it is still very tight. I was able to grip it somehow and pull very hard, but don't remember exactly.
