Shop Now: Cobra Neighbor Hater Mufflers www.jpcycles.com/search/searc... We show how to install a set of Cobra's Neighbor Hater mufflers and then we listen to the sweet sound of an American made freedom machine.
I put these on my Indian Challenger. I had the Cobra Scallop slip ons. These are a bit louder, but a noticeable deeper throaty tone. What I like about the neighbor haters is that they are not mid life crisis I am compensating for something loud. For me these are perfect and I love the sound.
2008 Roadking with 80K miles 2nd owner with an off-brand aftermarket exhaust. Rear pipe crosses over the derby cover. Lower exhaust nut was impossible to get the 1/2" socket on because it was blocked by the pipe. I finally got it with a 1/2" crowfoot wrench. The exhaust leak was coming from cracks in the pipe. Installed a new gasket and nuts and no leaks. I couldn't find any videos that show a similar pipe. Few Harleys have the rear pipe run over the derby cover they usually go underneath. Also, the valve stem for the rear cylinder with lean - white and the owner said he never got the fuel remapped.
This roadking has the stock catalyst header???? I'm looking to upgrade mufflers , hi-flow air kit & tuner on my stock '12 FLHTC. Down the road I wanna swap out stock cat header for free flowing ceramic coated header... So even with Catalyst header bike can be tuned too run smoother and cooler? Local bike shop in area uses the PowerVision tuner.... I'm assuming that flash tuner can always be reprogrammed with additional tunes as....other performance add-ons come along.....i.e. power chamber header, cams etc.... What are your thoughts on the Vance and Hines FP3 Fuel pak tuner? A nice" do at home" Without a dyno.....
I noticed on most of his installation, I don't see him talks about the mufflers gasket. Do you need a gasket for this Neighbors Haters installation on a 2020 Fatboy?. Thanks
We don't really like using breaker bars on small bolts/nuts. If its too stuck for a ratchet we don't want to run the risk of snapping the bolt off with a breaker bar. We would use something like PB Blaster and small impact or heat to remove the stuck nut/bolt.
