As a person who is hard of hearing and wears hearing aids in both ears, this video was really special. Thanks for taking the time to be educated and/or educate everyone on this accommodation.

Thank you for making this video. As a deaf person this is a great video well done! As someone who uses MFi on a daily basis, it’s great to be able to listen to music or podcasts without wearing big bulky headphones. Thank you once again for making this video.

Why do you need a tech reviewer if you don't need them plus they don't know what it's like to have them, To be honest though I'd rather have them than not it's just nice to be able to turn off your hearing, makes sleep so much easier, just a tip though, don't watch a video of what the doctor does

Is latency an issue when using your phone as a remote microphone, which is to say, is there any delay between when you _hear_ a given individual's voice and when you _see_ that individual's corresponding physical communication, i.e. their mouth moving, their expressions, their gestures and movements, etc.?

@@KazukiMatsuoka please tell me side effects cochlear implant
@KazukiMatsuoka
@KazukiMatsuoka Год назад
@@ubahhussein206 Minor side effects that I got straight after surgery was mild vertigo and or dizziness which went away after a week because your head is getting used to the new implant, as an adult you have to do some balance tests because when the implant goes in, it's quite near the inner ear where your balance is controlled, it can be affected a bit, so the test is to see if you have really good stable balance, if you had dizziness and vertigo issues beforehand you won't pass and you don't get an implant. Also you always start with a very weak magnet so it won't hurt, starting with a strong one will be painful, your skin will get used to the magnet and become tough, over time the magnet will get too weak and you can apply a stronger one, there are time in which it can be itchy or a little sore but over time as the skin gets used to it you won't feel a thing. I didn't feel nauseous, just really hungry especially after being on a table for six hours. These are the only major side effects after surgery.

Cochlear implants are overpriced and overrated. Also, the implant is not a standard, so you cannot fit different processors on different implants.

I deaf and have two chochlear implants and it would be interesting in the deaf community and who use chochlear implants on what type of phone is useful for chochlear users like me I use iPhone not to phone people but because of easy access and iMessage FaceTime ect but chochlear are falling behind like most phones now are headphones wireless like iPhone has AirPods and is chochlear users can’t use them hopefully chochlear will upgrade like iPhone are. Any one else in same situation as me as on NHS it’s six years for each update on chochlear in UK. Thankful next year I due updated but it’s too long phones are updating all the time.

I just learned that the "deaf community" is aganst these implants. I'm so tired of human beings. How can you choose to live without hearing!? If something can help you live a more free life, why not!? I expect you can't have practically any normal job as a deaf person.
