We rented the floating cabana in December, 2021. It cost around $1500 (including food/drinks and admittance for 6.). Private slide and floating hammock. However a thunderstorm came, while we were there. The storage area you showed, on the land cabana) is a large shower In the floating cabanas, and it became shelter for us, during that storm. The attendant was great. Removed the wet towels/ food and brought fresh!

Hi Jay, I'm a new subbie from New Zealand. It was your Wonder of the Seas suite video that made me book lol So I've booked my first ever cruise with my mum on Wonder of the Seas in March 2023. We ended up getting the Central Park balcony room 🥰 The weather looks amazing. This Cabana looks great but urgh I'll have to leave it for 2k lol

Sounds good for group of people to split or if anyone who don’t mind to spend 2k for partial day. Royal C. ships usually leave around 4pm, so people have to be there early to make that worthy for $1,800-$2,000.

Not sure who these folks are that can afford $40K for a week in a room on a ship or $2K for 6-8 hours in a cabana on a private beach, but that's not me. I love to cruise and appreciate you giving us the opportunity to see how the other side vacations, but I am hoping you do more stuff looking at the heart of the cruise ship experience that the majority of us will be pursuing. Thank you, I truly enjoy your enthusiasm!

I have to agree on the suite interesting video to watch because no way in this world is that something I could ever entertain doing... however those floating cabanas have a capacity of 8 people so a group of friends or multiple families traveling together could pool together 250.00 a person... still pretty high price tag but doable.

Jay i have rented one the cabanas it was clearly the way to go when you have a large group it become your home base for the day. The best time on that island.

I’m not sure if anyone mentioned this but you say you can order as many drinks as you want. Drinks are not included with the floating cabanas unless you have a drink package. I stayed in one last month and it was great but just wanted to point that out.

Make sure you book the cabanas ASAP as soon as you book your cruise. The price only increases!

I go on way to many trips a year to rent out one of those... For Example I am going on Allure of the Seas in October Balcony Cabin, with my wife, and I am paying 1700 for 8 days...But thanks for the tour, it was great to watch, and thank you for keeping it real.

Tony’s health I believe, makes him miserable. Jay is healthy and it does make a huge difference. You must keep your weight down. It’s so important.

We were invited on a 2 night simulation cruise for Mariner of the seas and the over the water cabanas were only $350!! We definitely took advantage of it. Such a fun experience but definitely not worth $1800 for one day. But we are a family of 3. If we were a family of 8 it would be worth it.

There are buildings with restrooms but not sure how close they are to the cabanas.

Well I myself am a PLAIN JANE so Chill Beach with the lounge chairs/umbrellas is good enuff for me. It's just my husband an myself. I plan on touring CoCo Key 🗝️ but on regular mode. We're only gonna do the outskirts beach parts. I really can't do the waterpark part. My arthritis to bad for a lot of high powered activity. WE GONNA BE ON CHILL MODE 😎. Bring On the Sunscreen 👍🏿

Is there a maximum of people with whom you can share the Cabana? $1,800 split among 6 people is well worth it, in my opinion. Thank you for this very informative review. There is nothing as beautiful as Caribbean water. ⛱

Just to clarify, the drinks included are based on the drink package you have otherwise you'll be paying a la carte.

@@JSHIPLIFE OMG! It's the best! We had a great deal at $500 and while that still is a pretty penny, it was soooo worth it. The pampering was amazing. I would recommend it at $200pp or less, depending on your pocketbook, of course.

Trying to justify the extra 1500 for the food service and I just don’t see it. Cabanas I’ve rented have been $3-500 low end to 1000 tops. I can’t justify the extra 1000-1500 but I’m sure others can.

@@dominiquebrown8790 That's actually how most people do it. The overwater cabana ranges from $1600-$1900 but includes 8 tix to the beach club. Individual tix to the club is $200. If you have a large group, the overwater can hold up to 10 people. Now is it worth it? Depends who you ask. If you're a foodie, I think it's worth it but I'll find out this summer! I think it's catered more for people who go there once every two years or so instead of someone who comes every quarter. If you go frequently or looking for economical value, I probably wouldn't recommend it. Does it provide ~$200 of value for each person? I think so if you're traveling with a fun, large group and everyone gets along. Especially if you're getting the cabana for free by buying 8 tix VERY early on.

Nope, I would not rent one. There are plenty of free lounge chairs with umbrellas available. Plus, those cabanas have no restrooms. If you have the drink pkg, drinks are free and there is plenty of free food.
