Cocoa Butter Drizzle Love Heart Bath Bombs With Aluminium Mould - Full Recipe Included

RECIPE (suitable for plastic bath bomb molds).
2400g Sodium Bicarb
36g SLSA
30g Any Carrier Oil (sweet almond, olive, coconut, apricot Kernel, sunflower etc. etc.)
24g Fragrance Oil
38g Witch Hazel
Mix all of the above together first, once combined then add your citric acid (below) as I do in the video.
1150g Citric Acid
Glass Spray Bottles (can't find these ones)
Colours:-
Bonny Buttercup Sparkle Mica

i love watching you make bathbombs - they are the bane of my soaping life - some work some dont - the ones that work i just cant find the market for them - so i just hardly ever make them now - so you are my fix for bathbomb making - lol

Hey Karen! Love these, the pink and purple is always a gorgeous combination!! For the drizzle, I like to use equal amounts of cocoa butter to baking soda. One trick to testing is dipping a "frozen" spoon into the mix and it will harden immediately so you cans see the consistency. I use this trick sometimes when making body butter bars too. A second identical heart mold could be used to compact the mix flat in the mold too. Love this heart mold, the size is awesome. Love these Karen, very pretty as always 😍 have you got another one of those heart moulds? If so have a go at using it to push the mixture down in it and save your thumbs, been a godsend for me as I have severe arthritis, ...... and it would be good do a mixture of both, that would be lovely. 💐

I am always amazed that your mixture doesn’t dry out before you finish. I have watched you make dozens of bath bombs and your mix stays perfect. I have not tried your recipe yet but want to. I do love mine but it only makes about 12 bombs. I love how meticulous you are❤️

Quick question - I have only ever used a bomb press and I sprinkle in my mix, so that my bombs will float. On these hand molds, they look like you have to pack pretty tight - do your bombs still float?

So you don't use polysorbate 80 when you use the mica colorant. Is that a problem? I have seen where it is recommended, but I wondered what you're experience is . I also wasn't sure about your measurements. Do you use the full recipe and 1150 g of citric acid in each tray or is it split between the two trays? Sorry in advance if this seems like a silly question...

I have to ask. Would it have been possible to have filled the shallow one at the end, with melt and pour? I know nothing about soap, or bath bombs, but if it's doable, that would make a cute little heart. Let the fizzy melt away and have the little bar of soap left over? Heck yeah. 🥰🥰🥰🥰 These were already cute though.
