I am on keto...just found chia seeds this week and started with almond milk...now going to try your coconut milk. Great recipe, cant wait! Thanks for the upload!
Hehehe ~ You’re so sweet 😁❤️ I have just started to make chia pudding myself and have a bit nuts inside as well. When the pudding is finished (I let it stems over night) I put blueberries and raspberries on the top and eat it for breakfast. It’s SO yummy and the best thing is that it is super healthy! But as I have learned we should not eat more than the amount of two tablespoons a day‼️
Looking good I soak them overnight in organic Greek yogurt and wild honey or pure. Maple syrup, Heavenly delight full 💖 also add hemp seed to it for extra energy boost
What about the additive they put in canned coconut milk? All the ones I've seen have guar gum as a thickener. This causes diarrhea. Does anyone know of a brand that gas no additives?
Sarah Liapis There is no added sugar in the Trader Joe’s organic canned coconut milk. It does have 1g of sugar and 3g of carbs for every 1/4 cup, which is very low and keto approved.
Janis Gagliardi I love Trader Joe’s organic brand. It’s clean and the can does not contain BPA. Even though I have to drive an hour to get it, it’s worth it.
You should do research on how healthy fat aids in weight loss. Fat doesn’t make one gain- sugar and high amounts of carbs are the culprits. I have been on a high healthy fat diet for six years and have a healthy weight and great blood work. 😁
Roseanne Samaraweera Did you go to my website? www.dtwellness.org you will find the recipe there. 😉 I have replaced the Stevia for erythritol and Stevia blend (Pyure brand) 1 Tablespoon.
Carolyn Tui I have a really hard time believing it was the chia seeds that packed weight on. I would probably look at the other things you were eating. They are low cab and anti-inflammatory. www.everydayhealth.com/diet-nutrition/diet/chia-seeds-nutrition-health-benefits-how-cook-more/
I am just always afraid of the remnants from the metal cans the coconut cream is in. Also cowmilk joghurt has about 1-4% of fat. Coconut milk has 30%! Cream even more. So I wouldn't dare to eat much of it. Too bad actually.
IF YOU ARE KETO OR FAT ADAPTED YOUR BODY USES THAT FAT TO MAKE ATP AND IT DOES YOU NO HARM AT ALL. IT IS THE MIXING OF SUGAR OR CARB WITH FAT WHICH SPIKES INSULIN THAT CAUSES ABNORMAL FATTY ACID METABOLISM ESPECIALLY IN DIABETICS AND PRE DIABETICS. BY THE WAY IF YOU HAVE HIGH TRIGLYCERIDES THIS IS A SIGN YOU ARE EATING TOO MANY CARBS AND SUGAR FOR YOUR BODY TO HANDLE. EVERY PERSON HAS A DIFFERENT TOLERANCE LEVEL. Kate White Can make some gassy, but sure better than Splenda! ALWAYS buy organic. Non organic Erythritol is genetically modified because it is derived from GM corn. 😉 I say, try it, if you have GI issues discontinue. 😁
