Since we're all nitpicking, I really love how inconsistent and real the muzzle flashes are in mw19, compared to the movie-esque constant flash of mwIII
I thought muzzle flashes always showed, at least without certain muzzles or suppressors... I do like constant flashes, but MW19's realism was really nice.
muzzle flashes are practically invisible when in well lit areas. low caliber guns tend to output less muzzle flash as there's less gunpowder in the round@@SquidCena
I feel that we got the right to nitpick on a game thats been copy pasted 3 times and sold full price EACH FKN TIME, not to mention all the microtransactions and battlepass bs. Nitpick all you want
MW3 is still better graphically and sound-wise over MW2, but that's not hard. MW19 was like a new direction for COD and MW2 just undid it all, then MW3 is trying to meet them halfway
I mean CoD engine has a problem where they reuse the same sound over and over again the sound gets shittier for some reason it can be noticed with MW2 vs CoD 4 ,CoD 1vs CoD 2
@@mttrashcan-bg1roAll MW3 guns are fictional but based off of real guns. The one in mention is clearly just a horribly butchered AN94 that should've been aborted at birth
@@superchococrispis7778 in mw2019 they maked the weapons like used in war but mwII and 3 is like factory new and this is ok but for me the shadow part of mw2019 is amazing sad the mastery camo of mw2019 is mid
Yeah, MW19 is really good at the sound design department, pretty much the best out of the series (and since the game is overall more memorable). The other reboot entries feel top 5, not the worst, but really doesn't stand a chance against the first entry.
@@SpecialTungi2006No, Mw2019 wasn’t the last game to use real names, It was obviously Black ops cold war was the really last game to use real gun names
Yea this really does look a step down. Really makes you appreciate Mw19 even though I only played the sp mode a few times. This game looks so much more flat and lifeless. But I'm not really a big player of the multiplayer in these games so if other people enjoy it that's great.
Jesus, the sound design (weapon sounds) are immaculate in 19'. They sound actual guns that makes your ears ring, then 23' sounds like action movie sounds. The downgrade is just...
Bruh it’s an arcade shooter with self regen, and unlimited stamina. Why does the sound and animations of a gun matter. Go and shoot a real gun instead of whining.
I remember being utterly fucking mind blown seeing MW19’s graphics and hearing the guns back in 2019. 4 years later, and the quality still hasn’t been matched.
@@TheHeroicBlockhead If you played the original Medal of Honor or Medal of Honor Underground, the PKP in MWIII sounds exactly like the Hotchkiss Mle 1914 in Medal of Honor Underground (only in the levels Without A Trace and Ally in the Desert). The metallic clank even sounds like it.
tho the pistols in mw2019 is not so useful cause of recoil but the man who made them didn't even hesitate about it and put realism over arcady feel really high
Tbh I think the animations themselves are great within both games. I’d say the sound design is where mw3 falls off for me. I felt the same “flat” feeling between these two cods and I think it comes more to the sound design and environments. Mw3 we see so many weapons from 2019, nothings new and refreshing as mw2019. Also mw2019’s sound design is just so much more punchier (for MOST guns not all). Also the color pallet, idk maybe just me but mw2019 feels so much more vibrant and nostalgic more than mw3 (kinda ironic). Animation wise both are great, just the lack of a developed identity in mw3 (or just a washed out one) really drowns everything great out.
The gun models in MW'19 all look like airsoft guns, the M4 and Holger is mix n match. They somehow butchered the Uzi. They changed the SCAR even though it's actually irl manufacturer is listed in game, etc
I don't know if it is just better foley sounds that is giving me this impression, but the MW19 reloads seem to have a lot more weight and friction to them, especially with mag insertions, MWIII just seems a bit more floaty and less impactful.
Sound is part of it, but it think the animation is what's doing it. They take about the same amount of time, but they're holding on key moments and speeding up on others. Alongside greater camera shake and superior posing, the overall effect is a much more fast, tactile, and violent feel.
I've also tried my hand at animating (I'm not that good though), and now that you say that I agree, I guess the flashy visuals just cover up some of the faults.@LuckySeven50507
The Main Reason why everybody says Modern Warfare 2019 looks the best is because it is the only game in the series that did not have a single reload animation from a previous game. Yeah those days are way fucken behind us now...
The PKM in MW19 is so realistic that the belt links do not disintegrate just like in real life. But MW3's PKM links disintegrate, and that's not accurate.
In every mw3 example it seems as if there isnt enough punch to the shots or the operator is going to snap his neck. Recoil is overall more balanced in mw2019 imo
@TheSiZaGaming Not crunch for 16 months, not touch the MW franchise, not create a worse Multi-player than that of MW22, not make a campaign that plays like trash, not copy-paste DMZ and call it "Zombies" I wouldn't have spent $20, and they are asking $70 for the worst CoD in the franchise. I don't know how they do it, but Sledgehammer just makes their games worse than the last one they made.
I think it’s so funny how much more accurate the guns are in mw compared to mw3. For normal casual players it prolly not a big deal. But for people who know about guns it probably drives them crazy.
@@the_soviet_smacker497 I mean, more so in terms of how some of the guns look. For example the 2019 mp5 is way more accurate looking to the real version of the gun compared to 2023s in my opinion.
As far as developers go, Sledgehammer have never failed to underwhelm. They are the only studio to have never put out a great COD. Really enjoyed WW2 but was only good for a Sledgehammer game. MW 2019 bought so much promise and potential for the Modern Warfare reboot, with MW2 being a decent sequel. But this is just not up to standard once again.
@@BasedMysticPikachuShhhh, you can’t say that. You have to act like MWIII is the Devil and all the older games is Jesus. They paid too much for their rose tinted glasses.
You gotta realize that sledgehammer was forced to make mw3 lol they were supposed to make a futuristic cod that follows the story of COD AW but nah either treyarch/infinity ward/ raven fucked up and some studio had to fill in the void
I have to disagree. Advanced Warfare was the best future COD and only dragged down by supply drops. I didn’t play WW2 but they actually listened to the community with the divisions overhaul. And Vanguard was basically MW2019 with a 1940’s skin on it. MWIII is way smoother than MWII and they aren’t stifling our feedback like IW did.
If there's one thing MW3 did right, it's the fact that they smoothened the Uzi animation. In 2019 it was too rough but well made, in 2023 it's smoother. Another thing MW3 did right was replace the MW19 FR 5.56 gas block with the real gas block of the FAMAS. Also, the Pulemyot (PKM) bullpup conversion kit in MWIII has a more correct reload sequence compared to both MW19 and MWIII PKMs. Other than that, 2019 is peak COD reboot sounds.
The wsp 9 sounds meh I wanted it to sound like the Uzi we had in mw 2019 also the gun for me at least is worse than in 2019 I struggle to kill with it while any other smg works better for me
@@jeffreyagainstthelosers5702ah yes infinity "dont you dare mention the good stuff we made that doesnt fit our vision we seem to think works otherwise we are gonna toss your ass out faster than lee ross" ward?
Pulemyot is a joke.....I shot PKP some times and MW 2019's PKM is the closest to reality. The version of this year is a no go (sadly). Nice Video, carry on 😊🎉
They honestly should have just kept the same reload and sounds for the guns like the renneti, rival 9 and the striker 45 I would totally be fine with that.
@@BasedMysticPikachui quite love my recoilless fucking laserbeam guns (sarcasm), god this line of thought is the reason we got vanguard (worst game in the series to this day)
Honestly I think everything in mw3 is better. Sorry but it’s my opinion. I do like mw2019s more worn look to weapons rather than mw2023s brand new look. I think it’s more of a rose tinted glasses effect for the 2019 one
MW2019: Best graphics and Sounds MW2 2022: Best Animations and Collabs MW3 2023: Best TTK compared to MW2019 and MW2 2022 and best at being a expensive DLC
I kinda wish the collabs were like fitting to the MW2 2022’s setting but I guess it wasn’t for alot of collabs. But I just watch videos instead of buying so I guess I should stop talking.
MW2 was fine, dare I say even great, BUT they really made you eat it with lots of salt! Constant crash issues, too long searching for lobby queues (some nights even forget about it, especially for 10v10! Some blame SBMM, no idea if thats the reason, but I'm definitely a below 1.0 K/D player!), awful menu navigation & bugs.... it was great once you made it into a game, but getting there...
@@Mr.Tom_69 Seriously! Why do they keep doing this?! Even after supposedly acknowledging it (at least during MW2's pre-release promises)... And I dont think its just greed, they can always just dish-out small-not-worth buying battlepass crap for 2-3 years straight (or even just a map pack 30-40$ -> enough of a profit + no extra work for them) and compensate for extra $ gains, until the next COD
Im Noticed That Codmw2019 has more Higlight Subsurface Than Codmw3, In mw3 They're look Like made up By Plastics And Even not having any Reflecting Area.
Why do they get the pkm reload wrong every single time? Like bro. You have to put a new ammo in before pulling the charging handle. The PKM is like a closed open bolt not an open bolt like the rest of the machine guns.
Mw23's animations may not look as good as mw19's, but some of y'all need to stop acting like they look "digusting" because they're slightly downgraded. For what they are, they look ok. The new sounds are definitely a little odd, though.
Anims dont make the game for me. Sure, it enhances the experience, but it's all in the core gameplay. Modern Warfare '19 gets utterly demolished in this aspect.
I'm kinda not surprised about the dip in quality. it feels like they gave a shit about mw2019, but as soon as they got the fans back they thought they could go back to their old ways. pree funny
MW2019's gameplay is basically a vastly superior version of MW3's gameplay lol. MW3 is a cheap imitation of good CoD using old guns and maps to nostalgia bait people into buying it
@@trashcompactorYTif you think mw2019 has better gameplay you are either a camper, low skill player, or deluded. Every og player knows how hated 2019s mp was at launch and IW never addressed the games problems.
I rewlly do nor understand what they did to nake MWII's engine so cartoony and why.. MW19 still looks the most realistic and sounds the best. Mayhe too many people complained how realistic it was, i know everyone complained about the color pallet and well real life isn't all that colorful depending on where youre at. So thats probably why they changed it. It just bums me out because i prefer the realistic look and feel to MW19.
@@TigerfieldYT I believe the striker 45 in mw19 is a fictional amalgamation of the UMP45, I thought that would be a better weapon to compare to, mainly because of the straight magazines.
@@cerberus9704MW3 has a LWRC-45 converted to fire 9mm as the “Striker 9”, and a UMP-45 as the “Striker”. Both models were originally used for the “Striker 45” in MW19, just the UMP-45 model was exclusively a blueprint variation
Mw2019 vs Mw2023: Mw2019 The graphics, The sound quality, and the adjustments like contrast, and saturations was better than mw2023. In mw2023. Some of reload animations reused on mw2, and The graphics on mw19 is highly contrasted, highly saturated, lowered a brightness a little bit, and have darker shadows then. On mw2023, we cleary see that mw3 didn’t reused the quality and graphics on mw2. Mw3 have little bit higher contrast, little bit higher saturation, and raytracing on mw19 is still better than mw3.
