Cod Sampling & Measuring on the Sentinel Survey 

Maine Center for Coastal Fisheries coordinates the Eastern Gulf of Maine Sentinel Survey, gathering information about populations of Atlantic cod and other groundfish on the coastal shelf. Samples collected are used by various partner scientists to improve our understanding of stock structure and predator/prey interactions. In this video, you'll see and hear from Robyn Linner, Graduate Student of University of Maine Orono, as she demonstrates and describes the process of sampling and measuring cod and other groundfish on the Sentinel Survey.
