@@brain_bank48 you're tripping, vanguard 1911 sounded like BANG BANG BANG BANG while ww2 was more of TONG TONG TONG TONG, there's a big difference, if i sound stupid, there's shit called onomatopoeia.
@@2m359 I didn't say they sound like nerf guns, do you English sir? Echoes are a sound created by the environment, not the weapon. What something sounds like and how loud it is are apples to oranges. Try again to make an actual point lol.
@-Random- you're funny when you're wrong. They didnt. It might seem like they copied the mg34 animation from mw , but if you just looked closer to the little details, you would notice the differences. #1 bolt is pulled in the beginning in mw, not at the end. Also, the bolt being pulled is way more smooth in mw #2 you just pull the mag off without moving the bullet chain in mw #3 theres more shaking when you put the mag in in mw #4 mw has more of a slappy feel when putting the top cover thing down, as compared to vanguard's more simple and robotic push
Texture wise it looks good, and lighting looks good on battlefield. But the way the characters hands look and the way they hold the guns in BF looks awkward af. Some of their gun sounds, sound super light and plastic. Vangaurds sounded deeper, but the sky being so dark and clouds really takes away from the visuals. Ww2 looked like it had better lighting but then again it's only the alpha, so I'm sure it'll get better.
Of course, you just have to listen to the mg 42, its sound is so similar, even the echo that the weapon produces is impressive, it causes fear, that's why I love Battlefield, although I will not despise cod because their campaigns have always been very good
@@garciagg3299 fair enough ill give em that they have better campaigns ever since battlefield 1 the campaigns on battlefield got stale but in terms of detail and realism battlefield takes the cake every time. Every gun on cod feels and sounds like its just shooting peas
The animations are a lot more fluid and smooth, and the maps are gigantic vertically and horizontally and big enough to feel like real places. COD maps are super oddly small and cramped, and their animations don’t change much at all and aren’t even remotely fluid.
It’s just an alpha but I’m already starting to get triggered at the fact that Sledgehammer could make the best WW2 game ever with MWs engine. But it already doesn’t feel as polished and fluent as mw
It looks like a mix of mw and cold war, definitely not a fan on muffled gun shoots and loud hit marker sounds like in cold war and apparently in this one aswell but let's hope that they'll fix em
@@AceBotGaming I didn’t play the alpha for MW but when I saw the gameplay it looked very different and seemed interesting, the way the movement was and the way the guns looked and sounded. Vanguard doesn’t capture that same feeling
Good video as always I feel like cod vanguard wepons sounds need to be fixed they don't sound as good but it's an alpha too so hopefully it will be better in the full release
@@beesting_yang3883 I agree I love hearing the foot steps it's a great advantage I feel like they help you know if there is another enemy player next to you
@@davidd.d8041 if you think the gun sounds in vanguard are more realistic than mw then you definitely don't know what a real gun sounds like. It's better than ww2s pea shooter sound effects but it's still sound weak 🤷
Little cool detail from battlefield v mp40 reload is the way your character pulls out the magazine. The magazines were always put upside down in the mag pouches and it looks like the character in battlefield pulls the mag like it upside down
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zpCM59Lx2Zg.html the guy loved doing that sort of stuff; did a mag check with the Thompson stick mags and others
@@topanlazuardi9251 actually the ROF of the BAR in Vanguard is realistic. If you used the BAR in both BF1 and BFV you will see a fire selector that allows changing ROF on the fly, which is actually a feature of the actual M1918A2 BAR. If Vanguard implements its fire selector to change ROF to rapid fire it'll be interesting, but could affect weapon balance.
It’s still a sub machine gun lmao and it’s WW2 you’re not an experienced gun owner at a firing range

@@TomasZombieDogGame ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-O38a_Bx18RU.html&ab_channel=hickok45 You know nothing, it's a 9mm sub-machine gun, having recoil like that totally defeats the point of the thing. In the video I linked, hickok is firing the MP40 as casual as it gets and the recoil is still managable and bullet still hit the general direction of the barrel, with a totally acceptable shot grouping for the time. It takes zero effort to shoot the thing, even a child can hold the trigger and has some fun.
@@ScaryAppul-114 That's one of the firing modes. It can be switched to rapid fire but then it would be hard to control and it would burn through ammo really fast.
Hear me out: - Battlefield has nice sounds but less beautiful animations for reloads. - Vanguard has nice reloads but needs improvement on sounds for shooting. - WWII (despite multiple inaccuracies) has some satisfying reloads, as well as more shiny-looking guns.
I personally see cod animation really cool. It's really shows that your soldier is a professional when it comes to weapons. While on BF. In BF their animations makes me feel just like a normal soldier with basic training to shoot and reload a weapon.
I think the fact that the Battlefield V was released in 2018, shows how more passionate dice is about their game, Activision is ruining an awesome game series by not caring about the quality and only focusing on releasing a game every year. As you can see, a 2018 made game is more realistic (in sounds and graphics) than a 2021 made game.
Eh well I mean they definitely improved. The only thing they need is actually making the sounds embedded into the same environment your character is in.
cod mw 2019 set the bar real high in sound design and animation for me. At least the gore is an improvement from CoD WW2 since they are using the MW 2019 graphics.
@4:25 that must've been ancient footage of the MG42 since they patched out that recoil pattern a looooong time ago. (I think the practice range used the story mode's recoil pattern compared to Multiplayer's)
In WW2 and Vanguard it is a different model of Thompson, but I think they're referring to the fact that you aren't looking through the aperture in the back sights, instead you're looking over the back sight to the front sight
kinda funky how BFV and COD use different variants and DICE specifically chose the 1928A1 so it would actually make sense to switch between stick and drum magazines
For anyone saying that the gun sounds needs to improve for Vanguard, have no worries cuz we're gonna wait until the beta comes out. That's when we could see the sound improvements
@@max_-dude1683 look up alpha gameplay of cold war, the mp5 reload looks different than final release. so yeah you’re wrong there stuff did in fact change
I hope vanguard brings back the "bunker lobby" like WW2. I think that was one of thr best innovations brought to a COD game in a while. It felt like peolle were more connected.
Vanguard has the same engine as modern warfare but you can just tell the same love for weapon looks, sounds and animations has not been put into Vanguard. It’s night and day and so sad to see that modern warfare is still going to be the best modern COD for a 3rd year in a row, Activision needs to step up.
@@ArthurMorgan-hg4xp the mp40 is one of the guns with the least recoil in vanguard tho..... plus there was recoil on the mp40 its just that combined with recoil control it was very easy to shoot
If I remember correctly, BAR irl has two firemodes, slow fire and rapid fire. Vanguard's BAR uses slow fire mode, but I'm not sure whether or not the slow fire mode has the correct RPM.
Fire selector switch of the M1918A2 BAR allows changing ROF on the fly. If you played BF1 and BFV, you will be able to change ROF with the BAR M1918A2.
Good stuff! The sound design in battlefield is always phenomenal! Truly amazing stuff! The animations in the new cod are pretty nice and sound ok too. However, If this is Sledgehammer, I'm honestly a bit shocked they still made some of the same mistakes in terms of some of the historical accuracy of some weapons. The Thompson "m1928" in the cods for example is incorrect. BFV is a m1928. The cod Thompsons clearly look modeled after an M1A1, which could NOT insert and use the drum mags, only the box mags. The sights and firing mechanism are all also simplified on the M1A1, with it also ditching the top Blishlock system on earlier models. I know it's a game and all and really not that important to most, but like, some of these same mistakes are in cod ww2 and tons of other games too. If they're striving for historical accuracy, it needs to be taken into consideration. I don't know much about vanguard yet, but it looks cool so far! I will check it out for sure! 😁👍🏻
A thing I noticed about vangaurd is alot of the sounds I've heard are all from cod WW2, and maybe it's just a place holder for now. Let's hope so. Otherwise it's just any other cod.
@@carljohnson-fc6el kinda, but some of them not so much. Battlefield is. But not really. Because cod is about "what's the best class setup" that's not really how it is in battlefield. Always new vehicles and the play style is always changed.
@@carljohnson-fc6el no its not like that the reason why people call cod the same game is that basically 4 games in a row are on the same engine, uses almost the same animations, are on the same level in graphics and only changing other era from future to ww2 to modern etc. its not like every "fps franchise" cod had and still have always problem with that because devs are too lazy but game is that popular that people will buy reskined game every year
You would think that since vanguard is just a copy of MW with a ww2 skin that it would share the amazing gun sounds. But it doesn't, the guns sound dry and plain bad.
I see Vanguard as an upgraded version of wwii I was tired of cod untill Modern Warfare came out on 2019. I was so exited for that game and I still enjoy it I did not like cold war and the constant spam on the menu. I wasn't even exited for it as now for Vanguard
@@max_-dude1683 on the blizzard app: cold war Opening midern warfare: cold war add On the menu: buy cold war Every new season: cold war cinematic Battle pass: cold war
The guns in vanguard sound pretty beefy especially the STG-44 mmmm👌but they do sound a bit muffled but I am almost certain that they will be better by the time the actual game releases
BF 2042 is gonna be in beta soon and so is Cod Vanguard But in Realease dates BF 2042 will be realesed in October 22 while Cod Vanguard will be realesed in Novemeber 2 (11 days after BF 2042 Releases) So that means BF 2042 Will start first while Cod Vanguard will start second
Thomson/M1928 из BATTLEFIELD V при выкаченных специализациях, является ровной копией того же Thompson из Call of Duty Vanguard (при специализации через барабанный магазин) и WWII (при специализации через скорострельность).
interesting that BFV really cares about capturing the correct handling techniques, such as charging the bolt on the BAR before ejecting the magazine, or not using the slide release on the 1911, or even the cycling of the bolt for the No. 4 rifle, for the period. You also notice this for the 1911 (and COD WWII gets this right, too) that it is modeled with a one-handed grip because two-handed wasn't part of the manual of arms of the time.
And that forms the trio of 3 unwanted ww2 games, most likely Cod Vanguard is gonna follow the trend of these 2 another ww2 games. Be a stupid 360 no scope sweaty gen ww2 game..
@@picklechin3061 Cry more for what? I'm speaking the truth, 3 ww2 games that literally doesn't look like a one at all with anime skins. If only they make like BF1 or WaW did then it would be cool but I guess they didn't.
Alpha is pretty damn good i cant lie. Blind fire is cool, you can now mount and move. I wish there was an option to double click crouch to dolphin dive and hold crouch to slide
IMO Modern Warfare is far superior in all aspects so far. Graphics, sound, lighting, animation… odd considering it’s on the same engine and MW was released in 2019 but so far nothing from Vanguard has particularly impressed me.
Звуки Вангарда явно слышно, что были записаны в крутом тире (в помещении), в отличии от звуков Батлы, где сразу становится понятно, что звуки писались на открытом пространстве (в открытом тире)
