they had 500K USD just laying around for emergencies. Nick, the emergency doctor ended up taking it like it's nothing. I can easily see each of these doctors and nurses doing 2 or 3 million cash in an emergency like this. Reddington is loaded
Mr.Kaplans character was more interesting than all the crooks and bad ppl Red had come up against if only because she literally knew were all the bodies were buried would have loved to know more about her character before her death
@@timholt7153 I've seen everything up to the latest episode in season 9. Yes, the show has changed a lot, any show that lasts that long have to change. The characters are more complicated, everything is much more developed and new plotlines can only challenge that development at this point. But of all that doesn't make the show bad. They've always been saying nonsense in the blacklist but back then it was New and interesting and relly well displayed. The show hasn't died if you're taking what it's doing the way it wants you to take it. Worst case scenario, the show is still miles better than most stuff nowadays
@@ytmara124 You can make up excuses for aynthing, fact is, characters behave different from what they would act given the information the viewer has, things get shuffled around and stuff has to be discarded to alllow for new stuff. That happening usually means the show shouldve concluded way before and most "great" shows get that through hitting an endpoint that is satisfying etc. Dunno how to take that "They've always been saying nonsense" though. at face value it makes no sense. If you mean theyve always pulled rabbits out of thier hats when it suited them then i can agree though. But its nothing substantial as long its not used as a crucial plot device (or too often used as such, the reveal of liz being alive for example was one i didnt mind)
@@timholt7153 We need to stop referring to leftists as "Liberal". democrats have never had ANYTHING in common with Liberals: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Classical_liberalism
No only does Reddington have them all on payroll but I’m sure he pays for all their kids education & stuff like that … only thing that would make sense as to why every single one of them dropped EVERYTHING they were doing to cater to mr Raymond Reddington…….
And you can have service just like this *IF* you are willing to pay for it. Red probably spent tens of millions having everything prepared and in place for this. Most people are unwilling to put even a fraction of that kind of money into preparing for something that "probably" won't happen.
This show was fire for a bunch of seasons, got kinda confusing eventually though. And weird that everyone betrayed him (Kaplan, Liz, Dembe, etc) sometimes more than once. The one consistent character that absolutely killed in every scene was Red.
@@danielpeter8022 he gave Liz the letter revealing Red's secret before Red died. And Red told him to give it to her only after his death. Arguably a pretty big betrayal.
@@adamsmith-wi3qg that is not called a betrayal dude, more like ignoring his direct order. betrayal is like Liz setting him up to end up in prison. As Dembe said himself after Marvin's betrayal: 'If it will give any comfort, I will never betray you.'
@@brokenbeyondrepairx I'm not sure where you get your definition of betrayal dude. If my most trusted friend betrays my most closely guarded secret to the person I hold most dear.... that seems like betrayal doesn't it??
@@adamsmith-wi3qg do you remember dembe enduring pain from Solomon all because he can't give out Raymond....and dembe would do that again and again....so yeah....dembe has never betrayed Red
Oh! when I saw poor Raymond "Red" Reddington hurt I prayed so hard for him to pull through, please don't let him die, I will miss him very much,. I hope he will pull through OK. xx
I was dating a woman for a while. Had just turned 40. Mostly out of the game after a couple of decades being knee-deep in it. She and I had an understanding. If my phone rang one ring. Followed by a second call moments later. To which I then answered with the following question... What are your cross streets? She knew not to ask questions.
It's scene's like this that contradicts their current story line insinuating that Red is really Katerina. Red said himself only a handful of closely trusted people know the Truth. Dembe, Ivan, Mr Kaplan, Dom , Illya and Sam. Only 2 of those 5 are alive. But what about his wife he had after he "became Red" Wouldn't she know what sex her partner is.. And wouldn't all medical personal know. Red couldn't have civilians just out there knowing he's really a she. Sorry you can't trick medical personal. So are we to assume he just kills off all medical personal that saves his life every time he has a medical emergency or are we to believe they are in the trusted circle. So if these random medical personal know what not Liz. Wouldn't it have been easier and safer for Liz to just know. How is knowing her father is really her mother make her less safe. If anything she would have been more agreeable to Red. Remember when she found out red was her father because of the blood test confirming. She instantly dropped her guard and welcomed him as her father. Instantly forgave him. She would have done the same If Red told her the truth?! Harold got dna from when they first arrested him and tested it and it came up as her father.i hate when writers think we're stupid and easily pleased with what ever crap they write. They contradict so many past storylines. And then just try to squeeze in a transgender storyline. Either do a strand storyline or don't don't give us a half baked I don't know what to do with Red and Liz now crap. People don't change their whole gender to hide from the government. This is a huge undergoing , it's mental emotional physical there's just so many layers to feeling stuck in the wrong body. Why wouldn't she gain weight and change her appearance drastically. She knew how to do that being a spy. She had the money. And the only way it makes since that red would let Liz get away with everything she did is if Red is her biological parent.
wait this is what happens!? they made him the mom! omg I really thought this show was gonna have such good story telling but I am glad I stopped watching when I did...
Someone's sex is not as obvious as you make it out to be once one had the proper surgeries and all but I do not buy it either, that no one would notice anything. Yes hormonal irregularities are pretty commen and all.... But something would be to notice and Kate would not have turned on him if she knew he was Katharina
I think there was an episode where they showed that they got a few warehouses in the city Reddington is right now with Equipments, Reddington's blood matches and everything they need. That's why Mr Kapland called after a while to give them the location of the nearest warehouse.
Two wave system would be my bet. Team one prep the space, with a bunch of medical equipment. Red could easily source such things by investing in various medical equipment manufacturers and pharmaceutical consortiums. There's probably a dedicated cell in every borough of the city outfitted with enough gear to set up a trauma centre. Red probably has one in every city he's likely to do business in and if he does business somewhere he's never been before it's a simple matter to relocate one of the teams ahead of time. Mr Kaplan could easily co ordinate such an undertaking. Second team are the 'sleepers' who are likely drawn from every major hospital in the city. They probably get around using spoofed emergency service vehicles to help them bypass traffic. That's how I'd do it had I the resources.
@@lolguy-x9n Yep and after the most recent assassination attempt, you can bet the US Secret Service has new contingency plans in case the President is shot while abroad or while traveling in general.
