To be fair in regards to Sayoko imitation of Lelouch, she IS a professionally trained ninja who took care of him for YEARS and with the technology of the time it’s not that strange

If i recall it right, Pres ordered Lelouch's hat because she actually has an interest on Lelouch but she keep it on her since she is friend with Shirley. Remember when Sayoko walked behind her saying she kinda went serious there in getting lelouch hat although she said she did it for shirley. Her being engaged to Lloyd is more of a family interest to stay in nobility. You may recall also when Pres is in shower with everyone where she looks down while everyone is happy they have a date on lelouch 😅

When you look at all of the technology in Code Geass, the mask is where you draw the line? 😂

the mask is a lot easier to suspend disbelief for than the idea of mechs forwarding cell phone calls from high school teachers

regarding sayoko's mask, well you know code geass is set in a universe with very advanced technology so it shouldn't come to a surprise.

Yes Shirley and Lelouch were dating, confirmed by the episode producer. In the Japanese version, in the outro of this episode, you would get to hear Lelouch panicking over his date plan with Shirley. And Lelouch did feel bad about erasing Shirley's memories and wanted to make up to her once the war is over in R2 ep3. His sentence was half-finished, but it was definitely the idea

Ppl believe that spies could mimic even without super masks. In other animes they show that easy transforming a lot. Here technologies and anime style allows this trick. Remember how they brought back Mao?

I think these are the weakest episodes of R2. The Chinese Federation arc feels like it is twice as many episodes crammed into just a few. It's hard to follow. I love R2, but every show has it's weak arcs. This is one of the weakest of Code Geass IMO.

I swear to god, Community stole the premise of their paintball episode from episode 12.

I completely forgot that the information from the second episode was all in that episode, I remember it only as a filler and that all the important stuff was in the next one but I’m way off. I also forgot that Rollo seems oddly jealous of those girls, I know Lelouch falsely promised to be a dear big brother to him but I don’t think he meant it like this.
