Bacl in 2022, a small crew of Coral Gardeners followed our ambassador and big wave surfer, Tikanui Smith, chasing reef waves during a once-in-a-lifetime swell in Tahiti, French Polynesia. The craziest thing about these waves is that they are created by the coral reefs lying below that absorb all that ocean's energy.
A good reminder that the ocean is beautiful, yet powerful, and deserves protecting.
