Cody James Boots Quick Impression REVIEW! 

I just bought a pair of Cody James. So far they have exceeded my expectations. Very comfortable, pretty stylish for an inexpensive pair of cowboy boots and the leather is very soft, IMO. I have Ariats, Tony Llamas and Justins and so far these are up there with my Tony Llamas and feel better than my Ariats. I cannot swear by the construction in use, but they seem very well made for the price.

I have a pair of cody james that wear mostly on weekends and special outings. LOVE them . They took a little while to break them in but now they're really really comfortable. I would definitely recommend a pair.

I have two pairs of Cody James. Only thing I’ve noticed is after wearing them my heels bother me a lot. But I do love the boots

Bought the exact pair about 5 years ago and I liked them a lot. I eventually turned them into work books and tore em up, but I think ima get another pair.

I have the same Cody james Boot BB 17 I took a magnifying glass and then no plastic around the toe anywhere. After breaking in they are very comfortable & well worth the money. I wear a 12.5 in Nike Air Max & my Cody James is a size 10.5 D. Perfect fit. The Leather is soft & nice looking. I haven’t found any manufacturing errors. The Square Toe is not a big deal. The Leather Soles have the Lemon Tree Pegs & Brass Nails.

I have the Cody jame rank 45 and they are nice very comfortable after changing the insole the insole that came with the boot would slide down as I walked and they definitely have some manufacturing errors but for the price I'm not afraid to actually wear then so it's a win in my book

I just bought a pair of Cody James Square toe work boot. First time to actually wear a pull on boot and a square toe work boot.. so far, love em... always been a semi round tip boot guy, very good price.

Standard Mexican quality boot, pretty good quality for those who are trying to get into the cowboy boot style.

The toe is the best part. I have two pairs of these, they break in nicely, love them.

I've got almost the same pair when I moved out west. They are my go to pull on and go outside shoe for work or nice jeans to go out. Never owned another pair so far. But I feel as if they surround my feet while I sit. And hug them while I stand. This channel opened my eyes to even getting a more expensive pair. But I was surprised by the overall durability. They are solid

I’ve got one pair of Cody James boots. First and only pair so far. They are one of my casual pairs that don’t see any dirt or work and only occasional wear. I have no complaints at all with them so far, but then as said I don’t wear them hard or for long periods of time. I like them better than some of my cheaper Justin’s but not as much as my more expensive Justin’s. Little less quality than my Corrals. Quite a bit below my yeehaw cowboys, and not even close to my Black Jacks. Which goes without saying when looking at the price differences between them all.

I have two pairs of Cody James both are exotics (python and arapima) and I love them wear them every day

For the price they look like they have some reasonable features like the hung lining.

I have some Cody James harness type boots, the quality is great, comfort is great, the price was also great sub $200 as well. Keep up the good content man 👍👍👍

I have a pair of python cody james boots. noticed the same arch feel you describe. I do feel cody james gives you more than the run of the mill justin, or tony lama or ariat.. check our corral boots sometime.

Something about square toe calls for rubber sole, might just be me. My R toe Justin’s are traditionally made hard leather sole. But my square toe boots are nice and rubbery on the bottom.

Got a pair of cody james model BCJFA23P1 and i wear them daily and so far so good i wear a 9D and thats the size i got in these however i did notice in other cody james boots not all 9D fit the same

They look pretty decent for the price. The square toe does have a odd look to it though when you have it your POV.

Really considering a pair of their python boots in black. Priced right and they look sweet.

I own a pair of Cody James but never wear them. They look good and feel good but the leather soles squeak real loud and it pisses me off, idk how to fix it

These boots are great especially for the price, that goofy toe box does go away with use.

Jeremiah I have a question about work boots if I may ? I am looking for a all purpose boot. I have to cross a creek to feed my livestock so they need to be water proof this time of year I am doing yard work and also in dirt growing vegetables. I do a little horse back riding so I need a round to pointed toe. I will be wearing them all day. So what brand do you think I need?

I've been torn between similar priced dan post and cody james... in the 190-225 dollar range. It's tough to find rubber outsoles in a boot I like

I want so bad to wear cowboy boots... I normally wear a 14 wide so I bought a pair of size 14 wide ariats they were comfortable at first but when they stretched out they were too big so I bought a pair of 14D ariats same problem even though they were narrower when they stretch out they were too big so I bought a pair of used h&h size 13 wide and were too small, I'm having trouble finding the right size... no cowboy boot stores in my area or even close to me to try them on...any advice from anyone would be awesome..

They seem like a decent boot for the price, but as someone with a narrow and flat foot, I think that the arch would be way off in that boot for me.

The Cody James boots slide on easier than Smoky Mountain Boots in the exact same size. Also feel better in the brand new state. Didn't get that pair at the time, so I don't know the working life of the Boots.

I'd expect no stains or plastic for a nearly 200 dollar boot. there are Chinese Justin boots for under 100 I'd maybe expect to see that stuff. maybe that pair missed QC. I like the slightly better quality though. I expect cheaper materials and build for under 200 but that really should not include the plastic and stain. that's just poor craftsmanship.

First of all the comments on the boots themselves I find that it is one of the finest boots I've ever owned p and my biggest comment is brown boots suck! Any man that has brown boots you can't wear them with a suit or they just look funky get black and they go with everything and very and you can go to the river you can go to the high desert you can go on rocks to the river as long as you waterproof them you can go anywhere

Cody James are junk bros. December 10th bought a pair for 300 bucks from BB, before 30 days, lost rubber heal on one and the next week the other. Walking on nails for three hundred bucks. I sent a long email and I don’t do that kinda shit!

Why did u buy a cheap pair of Cody James . Why didn’t u get a nice pair over 200 and do a nice review. Those pair suck

as long as you don’t wear Cody James boots everyday to work then they’re probably about average. 5 weeks working 5 days a week and the inside liner came apart on mine. Boot Barn told me to kick rocks when I asked for some kind of repair or swap. not worth the $200 I spent on em. especially since Boot Barn won’t backup their own product. they know their product is garbage.
