Coffee Cake
The cake melts in your mouth! Simple and delicious recipe. How to make coffee sponge cake step by step.
🧁Sponge Coffee Cake:
Ingredients:
110 g all purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
A pinch of salt
100 g sugar
4 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
40 ml cold espresso
1 tsp cocoa powder
1 tsp vinegar
In the end, gently mix everything. Bake in 2 x 20 cm diameter cake pans at 175 degrees Celsius for 12 minutes. Let cool and cut each layer in half horizontally, so you get 4 layers of sponge.
🧁Filling:
250 g whipping cream
70 g powdered sugar
450 g cream cheese
40 ml cold espresso
- beat everything and store in the fridge, then spread on each cake layer using a cake ring.
🧁Ganache Sauce:
100 g hot whipping cream
200 g milk chocolate
1 tsp instant coffee
- mix up until everything is melted, then pour the mirror over the cake and refrigerate overnight.
