Coffee Slow Motion B roll Behind The Scenes - Sony RX100 VII Slow Motion. I got some questions on how I shot my Coffe slow motion b roll, so here are som behind the scenes. It's a basically a simple setup in my kitchen, using my Sony RX100 VII with high frame rate mode slow motion, and two Aperure AL-M9 pocket size lights.
The Sony RX100 VII can shoot at 960fps in NTSC and 1000 fps in PAL when using the HFR mode slow motion. The fast shutter speed at HFR mode requires a lot of light. Thats why I used both a window as ambient light and two Apeture AL-M9 close to the glass.
I think the slow motion made the RX 100 VII footage look more cinematic. I also used some speed ramping to make the slow motion a bit more dynamic and fun to watch.
