Really... I still leave it harden over night, so it still takes as much time as mixing up some West system, but the five minute stuff is so much easier to mix up in a tiny batch.
Great video, Art. I notice the editing style of this video is considerably more kinetic than how I'd typically characterize your videos. For what it's worth, I like it!
Nice work Art! "..... so I brought my wife down....." That will give you an official answer or you will hear it many times over throughout the life of the project. I have learned over the past 55 years, that if you ask for a second household opinion, be willing to live with it. JimE
Ooh, a pseudo Matthias jump test! Just kidding. Nice project. Don't know how I missed it when you first posted it. I like the subtle ( 6th use? ) curves you added.
Beautiful job Art! My absolute favorite wood to build with. I'm working on a jig for the dowelmax that handles those awkward mid-board holes. It's basically a t square with a slot that allows for using the threaded brass rods included with the dowelmax and a couple of knobs to tighten and adjust. Easier to show than explain by far. I'll tag you on ig when I get it finished up.
Not sure about beeping but the laundry is above the one end of my shop and sometimes I just have to keep filming even when the washing machine is spinning. Thanks for stopping by!
Where do you get your lumber Art? I have a local to me business (chisolms lumber) but not afraid to drive for other options.... or at least I was before the fuel prices.
When I'm in a rush, I go to a lumberyard in town, and pay a premium. Otherwise I look for a lumber mill well outside of town, in order to find cheaper lumber. (I looked up Chisholm's and you seem to be on the opposite side of the province from me, so I think you're going to have to explore lumberyards around there. Check Kijiji or FB Markteplace for small sawyers)
