COH2 FPV Teaching the top 5 about PPSh conscripts 

Its almost always the OKW players when they complain about SU PPSH conscripts, or upgraded Brit/US riflemen. Yet in the same game they always charge with the stg44 volks, Obers, or Falls.

I guess it's kinda off topic but do anyone know of a good site to stream newly released series online ?

@@noxrige It's because it's quite difficult to get the DPS necessary to counter Allied troops with OKW's weak grenadiers. The Sturmpioneer's StG range is practically non-existent, so the only way to deploy them besides opportunistic flanks is the use of blobbing 2 or 3 squads together, and closing the distance at the same time. USF's Thompson's are OP, and the Bars are no joke as well. A look at the DPS charts and in-game performance will say as much. But I think what really frustrates OKW players is that they can't get better weapons even if they wanted to pay for them. Volks only get a crappy 60 munition StG upgrade, and Obers are quite underwhelming for their purchase and upkeep cost. Pretty true when you consider that USF get 28 MP reinforce on Paratroopers who can use double LMG, or retreat-wiping Thompsons with 6 men resilience per squad. It's those kind of imbalances which upset OKW players. They have no real infantry wiping tools in the early game besides a Flak HT which has its sets of particular drawbacks while Allies have light tanks. And in the late game, OKW has extremely expensive tanks which are less disposable, and don't fire massive AOE HE shells or have the manoeuvrability of Cromwells. It also doesn't help that the main gun of P4 fires slow and is often RNG dependant, with the consistent factor being its MGs. I think that's why OKW in particular have to blob at certain times and complains a bit more about what they perceive to be an unfair balance scenario.

It's like that so often that sometimes I don't even bother to get the T34 and go for a AT gun + kat instead.

@@overlord4404 That's not true, because on the converse, I had a P4 miss around 90% of its main gun shots in a game 10 minutes ago. I still won, but that's due to proper MG and infantry positioning. There are games where P4 gets penned while Shermans deflect many shots as well.

Then how would you define a top 5 player? CoH 2's 1vs1 ladder is genuinely a super challenging grind, often with opponents who've won world championships playing on automatch as well. And with Paul.A.D being a consistent name at the top 20, I think you can't deny that his consistency and skill is real.

@Ryan Vetter hes lost Flak HQ so 2nd pz4h or KT2 wasn't smart move. Better rebuild flak HQ and Hetzer instead

@@buivietdungtran3065 yeah good play against all Tightrope's mgs esp with double raks. He had killed all his t34s anyway so nothing to worry from armor

@@brandonturpin8932 guards get grenades and smoke from the vanilla mortar if you need

@@rainbowstarunicornprincess4391 Don't underestimate how handy having the smoke on the infantry squad is. Mortar takes time to deploy, and needs to worry about positioning and range. The body armour of Shock Troops make them extremely relevant.

Anti infantry units such as flak half track or brumbar, maybe own close range infantry like assault grens...?

@Ryan Vetter Aaand of course lots and lots of MGs ;D I just fear that your MGs will get absolutely demolished by PPsh Cons and will be used against you... One good flank and your MG is gone

OKW could go for a mp40 volks instead of stg44 with fuersturm doctrine, they can deal with ppsh cons

They are decent, just not incredible, worth getting 2 if they are in your commander imo. Seemed to be very good on this map though.

If tightrope go for guard, 7 cons or svt cons. He would completely lose the game since Paula always go death ball wipe

Ironically, Penals used to have flamethrower grade, it was replaced with PTRS to grant Soviets non-doctrinal AT infantry unit.

I have no idea why he took Feuer if he didn't use a single ability of the doctrine.

In that engagement whoever runs in to close the distance loses and the ppsh conscripts have the edge long range so it is tough for the volks. mp40s do have a slight edge up close but hard to apply it.

@@tightropegaming on close up maps like Ettelbruck they seem to chew any inf, including ppsh cons, except shocks.

STG44? Ost? Luchs? Try something, anything, but all people can do is moan and complain, not act.

Volks have Faust, have flamenade, have stock grenade in commander, have grenade assault from another commander, have practically same quality cover, have passive healing from vet, have STG package, MP 40 package from another commander while costing only 10 mp more and slightly more to reinforce....hummmmm ok ....balance

Because it is a very expensive engineer squad to do everything as same time like sweeping and charging enemies. Sturmpioner is kinda balanced for it design.

How else are volks supposed to fight vs Riflemen/Infantry section in the early game?

I’m glad you think I just play allies. Just shows how narrow minded some people are. I do play OKW and it’s the same thing each game. I see any unit within the first 1:30min mark and it’s insta-retreat because it’s too potent. As usual the topic goes off about ‘this allied unit’ and. ‘That allied unit’ Sorry but it’s the same thing. 1v1 that units solo’s all early game/starting unit and then it’s escalates. We pretending end game isn’t also biased with 63910347 health ‘medium tank’ panthers.

Yes, sturmpios are a strong early game unit but every decent player knows how to deal with them. They certainly are not OP, when you struggle against them your opponent simply plays better or you play bad
