@@roverdrammen3977 No, he is. He just took a break from the band for a few years and therefore he was briefly replaced, but he is back with them now! Josh is such an insane drummer! 🤘🏼
I’ve been listening to Coheed for about 23 years and I still get chills during the last part in keeping secrets. Seen them a dozen times and every show feels like the first. They always bring the energy. Co&Ca forever.

20 years of straight up excellence. A band with this much material isn't going to represent every record (especially when they're supporting a new one), but I'm holding out for a Neverender for the Afterman albums.
I can’t believe they played an arena!! I just saw them in Detroit and it was outdoors in a parking lot with a couple hundred people there!! They still fucking rocked it!! My mind is blown right now that they played an arena after seeing them in a parking!! I guess Detroit area doesn’t have many Coheed fans. They still gave it full effort and blew us away!
@@imalizard2113 I think maybe it's because they co headlined with A7X, Josh said on his page that it was their first headliner so I'm just going off that haha
NICE! I love it! I had only seen them once, at Warped Tour very early on in their careers, maybe 2003-2005? I finally saw them a week or two after this show in Salt Lake City and it was amazing.
They're LITERALLY living the dream for a rock band, they've had the PERFECT career. Been around for 20 years, they're all in their 40s now, but they're tighter live than they've ever been, not a single member is phoning it in or out of practice, Claudio's voice didn't fall apart like 75% of rock singers, instead it got BETTER. Despite falling out of the mainstream attention and regular radio play they briefly attained in the early 2000s they didn't fade away. They cultivated a dedicated fanbase on their own terms and they're still headlining, still selling out large venues, still releasing albums that are well received by critics and fans, and they aren't just stuck playing old hits, they're playing a ton of recent stuff (10 of the 18 songs in the set are from VAXIS I and II) and everybody in the audience fucking knows it and is screaming it at the top of their lungs. If I was Claudio I'd be crying constant tears of joy at what I've achieved.
@@ForeverMasterless well said. Bravo. I think sometimes it’s hard to see when you’re as close as Claudio is to it. I couldn’t have drawn up the career path better. Labels used to ask us in the early days “Who’s a band that you’d wanna use their career as a template” and we’d answer “The Deftones” and by golly… I think we did a solid job of it.
Saw them last night in Denver and everyone was losing their f-ing MINDS when Ghost came on. No one was expecting to hear it, nor this amazing rendition of it
Oh boy, my friend, I hear ya! I had seen them at Warped Tour many, many years ago but had never seen them during a proper headlining tour. I finally rectified that in Salt Lake City a week or two after this here show and it was amazing.
You rock! I was going to see them in DC but my wife had to go to training out of state and had dad responsibilities. This is the closest I can get to seeing them live these days and it was a great experience. I am eternally grateful! One among the fence.
This looks damn near pro shot quality. And it sounds wonderfully solid. Thank you for posting this since I probably won’t have a chance to see them this tour.
Great footage, audio nice and clear as well. Been a few years since I've been to a show, hope to catch one soon here. Ooh thank you. This was my 11 year old nephews second concert ever and both were Coheed. After a Disappearing act he asked to never leave. Now he can watch this again.
Like all of us, we look for a happy place. We are all going through some terrible things from time to time. Coheed is my happy place. I put on my headphones, and nothing else matters for that short time.
By far the best concert I've gone too, such a great performance. Made better because we got upgraded tickets to get closer from some random guy, thanks whoever you were.
This show was awesome! My best friend crowd surfed for his first time ever during window of the waking mind. Definitely a show we’ll never forget. Thanks for getting such incredible video 👏🏼
I agree. It is their anthem, after all. It has strong crowd participation elements as well. Yeah, classically it would have been "Everything Evil" I wouldn't mind "The Light and The Glass" myself.
I remember discovering Coheed on Purevolume back in the day. Right around when SSTB was released. I kinda started my musical journey on the pop punk scene with New Found Glory and similar bands. As I got a little older I started branching out. What I love about Coheed is they have evolved so much with each new album. They also have the ability to polish off the old stuff and make it feel new. It all just fits. I fucking love Coheed.
Saw them two days after this at Agannis these guys are the real deal. As close as you can technically pull off studio music to the stage. Know I gotta wait who knows how long til I can see em again woof
Most people like the explorer because of hetfeild or others. My love for the explorer came from claudio almost have enough saved for the same pickup he has in his
I remember Josh saying he wished to be apart of the song ghost on the record but knew it was perfect. But that solo they added live, I see what he meant now!
This is superb! - Can anyone confirm if they've played Comatose on the tour yet? It's one of my favourite songs on the new album and it doesn't look like they are playing it live 😥
@@markitaneight The quality is tip-top. I've been listening to Grateful Dead, Phish, and all those other taper-friendly bands for ages so I'm always intrigued. I'm not sure what sorcery you've got goin' on here but I love it. The zoom-in on the boards between the set and encores is the nerdy shit that I live for, ha!
A Quintillian Speaker. It's a KEY element of 'Vaxis Act 2: A Window of the Waking Mind's written story. They also played a vital, though smaller part in allowing Nostrand to escape the Dark Sentencer in 'Vaxis Act 1: 'The Unheavenly Creatures' 's story too, and from the conclusion of Act 2 looks like they are going to become a KEY element of the story moving forward as well, so get used to seeing their image in some form. There's a picture of it for those who are curious as a background to the official audio of the final track from Act 2, 'Window of the Waking Mind'. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-WscFSf_OjHA.html
