Haha that has to be a first, breaking a controller playing Elden Ring when BEATING a boss!

This boss took me around 18 hours total across multiple days to beat solo with my dex/faith fire build with no summons. Also, I don’t really like long range spells. I prefer a more spell blade playstyle. So, I limited my incantations to be only things that put me in close range for my Milady sword damage like black flame ritual, messmers orb, catch flame etc. Even with those spell limitations, I could only do most of my damage with my Flame Art Milady with wing stance. This boss has very short windows of attack on his 2nd phase, and he is incredibly punishing if you’re greedy and get caught mid-attack. I didn’t think Bayle’s difficulty could be topped, but I was proven wrong a hundred times over on this boss. A light greatsword is incredibly fun on dex playthroughs, so I highly recommend Milady with the wing stance on a future run.

Something I've found after having starting playing Elden Ring is how aggravating the lock on system can be. It REALLY sucks when you lose your lock on and can't get it back because of the boss dynamics or placement, like how Cohh wasn't able to in that one try. And there is no way to increase your view speed without messing with everything else.

my biggest and 1 of very few complaints of elden ring, is the NG+ mechanic. I wish you could unlock the weapons, skills, and spells and choose from 3 of each to start a Brand new game with. Instead of starting with the same high stats you did before. Or unlock a vendor for all new characters you create to buy the weapons/skills/spells instead of having to NG+ to just use them.

loved the playthrough, but the ending felt really anticlamtic to me :( GG's though!

That ending and it's story was REALLY anticlimactic., like if you're meant to be the best rated expansion in history I expect you to have a good ending.

What a fantastic ending to a fight-and controller. 🫡
